OMSE performs steel manufacturing and quality control processes in three steps:

EVALUATION OF MANUFACTURERS

OMSE selects its manufacturers from companies according to existing evaluation criterias and audits them routinely in the framework of procurement and quality control procedures in accordance with the quality management system process. In addition in order to ensure that products are manufactured in accordance with the quality from order phase to delivery phase; all processes, including material supply process of manufacturers, CNC processing, manual processing, welding, galvanizing and packaging are followed by OMSE. Finally routine material, galvanizing and packaging test and controls are made by OMSE with the participation of customer/enduser supervisors and full compliance to customer specification is provided.

Especially with first order, raw material supply, planning process, organizational structure, manufacturing processes, galvanizing and packaging processes are controlled and monitored by continuous visits. While it goes on working with successful and satisfactory manufacturers, it doesn't go on working with manufacturers if weakness is seen in planning and organizational structure although they have sufficient equipment and documentation.

PROCESS CONTROL

OMSE, provides supply services to its customers on the subject of Steel Towers and Structures besides engineering support with the approach providing quality service and timely delivery. Thanks to its experience on steel market and expertise on engineering services, it aims to bring quality understanding in the business to the highest levels.

OMSE primarily seeks existence of expertise team, adequate equipment and of course quality management system in its manufacturers. In this scope, under the light of its experiences gained for many years in steel market, it evaluates its manufacturers according to criterias as expertise of staff, adequacy of equipment as CNC machineries, manual machines, gas shield welding machineries etc. and sufficient stock keeping capacity. Under the light of experiences and references in the market, OMSE works with adequate companies with order-based contracts.

In light of these criterias, OMSE updates its list of approved suppliers constantly, provides inclusion of manufacturers providing effective and quality solutions to this list. By adjusting order quantities according to capacities of existing manufacturers, it protects itself and its customers both on the subject of delivery and capacity problems. Thanks to this, theoretically OMSE has chance to work regardless of any capacity limits. Among its competing manufacturers, the most prominent advantage is this position and policy of OMSE.

Following the completion of engineering works and workshop drawings, OMSE prepares manufacturing cards and manufacturing lists and transfers them to manufacturer. After making general manufacturing program, prototype schedule and delivery program with its manufacturers, process control is starting. At this stage, beginning with prototype controls, whether the black steel members are controlled in accordance with manufacturing cards, visual control of weldings and of course maintenance of manufacturing process are controlled according to with planned program. If there is, making required corrections on the subject of elimination of nonconformities and planning of correction activities in accordance with manufacturer’s and OMSE's quality management system procedures are done together with manufacturer. If there is a new design, at first prototype manufacturing of tower, pylon, beam, support or structural steel is done. Compliance of prototype, installation of which was made according to manufacturing drawings is controlled by OMSE teams (if requested it will be controlled under the supervision of customer). Noted nonconformities or required revisions, manufacturing card faults are corrected during prototype inspections and process controls. Shipment of new designed structures shall not be shipped without making prototype inspections. In this way, seamlessly installation of all structures delivered by OMSE is guaranteed.

After process control; following the completion of production, acceptance tests are made by OMSE together with customers in the scope of ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) procedures provided by OMSE. Generally participation of customers to acceptance tests is provided but if requested by customer, acceptances are made only by OMSE and reported to customers. Acceptance tests are consisted of raw material certificate controls, profile and bolt testing, galvanization tests and package control processes. Compliance for specification and standard is controlled by testing samples selected by OMSE and/or Customer, and compliance of galvanization thickness to standards and specifications is controlled measuring by various methods and/or micrometer. In addition to this, whether the packaging is made in accordance with package lists prepared by OMSE, whether the packages are in compliance with OMSE Packing & Marking Procedure and package content controls are made on randomly selected packages.

The compliance of specifications and standards are verified by acceptance tests, test reports are signed by manufacturer, OMSE and Customer Representative joined to test. Shipment approval is not given without performing acceptance tests and package controls.

Metal Kiosk: Metal kiosks are manufactured by using hot-dip galvanized sheet.
