Omni Channel Solutions Holds LDMP for Its New Batch of Leaders and Mentors
Kicking off its first installment in 2021, Leadership Development and Management Program (LDMP) returned last September 2022 with a fresh batch of new leaders and mentors across different departments With double the number of delegates from last year, 23 team members were selected to participate in the exclusive four-session training And for Omni Channel Solutions, this only means a growing number of leaders that can drive the organization forward and inspire their team members to make a difference and create an impact
For the second time, Omni partnered with Vertical Parallel to conduct a training program that aims to equip its team members with the proper mentality, practice, and tools for leadership.
Among the Master Trainers were Vertical Parallel's Founder Luis Magalong, who commenced the workshop with discussions on Personal & Organizational Leadership, and guest speaker L A Mumar who provided introspection on how leaders dream, care, and sacrifice Co-Founder Jenny Magalong and EQ & Leadership Coach Lito Cornejo also led the training sessions, tackling Personal & Organizational Productivity and Emotional Intelligence, respectively.
Now that the workshop is no longer restrained by the limitations of a virtual environment, various in-person activities made the training more engaging and personal Different individual and group exercises were conducted to encourage collaboration, introspection, interaction, and immersion all of which are instrumental not only in the learning process but in the act of leadership itself
LDMP
Learning through and with others Diving into the self
COLLABORATION
Learning during LDMP sessions is not a one-way street Just as the facilitators shared their knowledge with the delegates, the participants also contributed their ideas and experiences with their trainers and peers
INTROSPECTION
Vertical Parallel's Master Trainers didn’t only teach things that could be simply found in a handbook They also taught the participants a great deal about themselves: their values, leadership styles, strengths, and weaknesses, which are all essential in identifying what kind of leader they are and what kind of leader they should be
Making connections that matter Putting oneself in others' shoes
INTERACTION IMMERSION
The icebreaker activities between lectures went beyond just energizing the body and mind Fun little games sparked conversations and opened doors to new connections, thus facilitating an environment with team members who can comfortably collaborate with each other
Throughout the four-session course, delegates were asked to navigate through different scenarios they may encounter in the workplace By putting themselves in various situations, they were able to practice the concepts and frameworks they learned from the lectures
As LDMP-1 topped off with a fresh batch of newly equipped leaders and mentors, Vertical Parallel is set to return this February 2023 for LDMP-2 with the Class of 2021 and the Class of 2022's top delegates as participants

October 31, 2022 – Omni Channel Solutions team members boldly took on the challenge of strutting the streets of Ortigas donned in their best circusthemed Halloween costumes while on their way to one of the company ' s most anticipated events of the year: Kärnəvəl 2022.
With the return of face-to-face events in 2022 following the office launch in June, Omni Channel Solutions dared to defy expectations by tirelessly working to make its future affairs a core memory for its team members to always remember Through a joint collaboration by Brand Studio, Corporate Communications, and the Shared Services team, Omni created an unforgettable event for its team members that saw Discovery Center's 38th floor impressively transformed into a jovial festive carnival with exciting game booths, fun prizes, appetizing concession stands, entertaining performers in the form of magicians and acrobats, and a lively bingo game for everyone to enjoy.
"I was on a call with Omni's President, Vicky Trinidad-Garcia, to discuss my intention to organize the '22 Halloween event. I think I used 'circus' as a reference, and Vicky instantly loved the idea!" remarked Creatives Operations Manager Andrei Blanco. He also added that the team took a risk by involving external partners in turning the event a reality "It was a bold move, but the team was able to pull it off!"
Kärnəvəl 2022 saw Omni team members unleash their inner child and have uninterrupted fun for a whole day From enchanting magicians, to whimsical clowns, to cheeky mimes and jesters, to mysterious fortune tellers, to adorable circus animals, to colorful food stands, and even an ingenious formation of a roller coaster made of cardboard, the creativity and eager participation of the organization’s members were really what made this attraction a huge success.
Employee Relations Specialist Candice
Virtucio said Omni wanted to create an event where team members wouldn't only be able to interact and engage with each other outside of work but also showcase their creative sides and personalities without any restrictions or limitations as opposed to the virtual event held via Zoom in the previous year. "Seeing everyone dressed up was a treat! We appreciated the effort our members put into their costumes. Not only did our members get to have a fun break from work, we were able to get to know each other better "
Prizes were also given to team members who rocked up in some of the most clever halloween looks Omni has ever seen, with Team CB - eCommerce and Team CBAdvertising EMEA bagging the awards for best team costumes
So, what else does Omni Channel Solutions have in store for us this 2023? Let's take a peek into a crystal ball and find out
A TRUE mark of Excellence
December 10, 2022 – This was the year that live events and red carpet pageantry came back in full force, bringing Omni Channel Solutions’ fashionistas out of hibernation and instantly minting new looks as they graced through one of the most anticipated live events of the year –the annual True Omni Awards and YearEnd Party, One With The Stars
To wrap up an eventful 2022, the celebration at the Joy Nostalg Hotel and Suites Manila honored this year's crème de la crème and highlighted Omni Channel Solutions' successes in 2022
The evening featured a lineup of dazzling red-carpet guests, incredible performances, and exciting awards that made the night truly memorable
One of Omni’s key initiatives is to keep honing team members excelling in their respective areas of expertise while showcasing the core values of Openness, Meritocracy, Nurturing a Growth-Oriented Culture, and Integrity
There are currently three major awards first, The Up and Comer award, which recognizes the best new member of the organization, won by Ronaldo Lopez Jr; the Mentor award, which recognizes the member who has displayed the best traits of a leader, bagged by Angelo Pascua, and the True Omni Award, which honors the team member who has lived by the Omni core values-– a living definition of what a True Omni employee should be
Associate Team Lead (ATL) Julius Acebron of Channel Bakers Advertising US - North America and Latin America emerged as the True Omni Award Winner for 2022, succeeding last year ' s awardee, Amador Rey De Castro VI Acebron bested other brilliant finalists from CB - Advertising EMEA, Cedrick Go, and CB - Creatives' very own Hannah Reyes With more than three years of experience, he has exemplified excellent service, proven by his long list of commendations from various clients, co-team leads, and subordinates
“It felt so unreal! I couldn't believe it, and I even asked Vicky if it was true Honestly, after that hindi ko pa din po alam kung ano ba talaga uunahin kong isipin, I couldn't contain my happiness, gusto kong maiyak na gusto ko din sumigaw sa saya!” Julius said
When asked what his next plan will be, he wants to continue what he has started, cherish what he has become, and be the same teachable person everyone can trust. He wants to contribute at a high level and exert his very best for the organization – a reflection of what being True Omni means.
True Omni Awards was first organized in 2021 by Omni’s Corporate Communications Team with the support of the Shared Services, Brand Studio, and the Management team to recognize the best employees who exemplify the organization’s core values
A year after its launch, the awards were expanded to include four special recognitions fortifying the event, including The All Rounder, the team member who brings everyone together with their lively and energetic personality, Ultimate Collaborator, who is always ready to help and support their peers, even if it’s beyond
their duties and responsibilities, Pay It Forward, the team member who participates in community engagements, philanthropic activities, and charity works, and the Dynamic Duo, recognizing two members whose partnership and chemistry create unparalleled outcomes and results
In addition to these awards, Omni also acknowledges the efforts of their backend support people who help Omni in their daily operations This gives them the recognition they deserve and fosters inclusivity in the organization.

OMNI CLASS OF 2022
Meet some of our Omni Channel Solutions' team members who persevered amid the pandemic and got to proudly march on stage in their togas to receive their hard-earned diplomas.
SHAIRA BUCOG
Human Resource Development Management
Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela (PLV)
I learned that working in HR can be challenging but gratifying I also learned to recognize the crucial role of HR, as it requires looking after the company's most valuable asset: its employees.
Omni played a big part in completing my internship everyone was so warm and welcoming that I never felt like an outsider throughout my on-the-job training I'm also fortunate to be a part of a group that has been generous in providing knowledge that will undoubtedly advance my career in the future.
What's the biggest lesson you've learned?
The importance of managing your time well You'll get a sense of achievement and self-assurance when you successfully organize your schedule and meet your deadlines When you become an adult, your responsibilities grow significantly more than when you were a student, and learning how to prioritize can help you stay on track.
JHERA PARALEJAS
Tourism Management Polytechnic University of the Philippines
As a student and now an Omni team member, Jhera has always been responsible, proactive, a challenger, and a fast learner These are some of the major qualities she still embodies today as an Omni team member Jhera has also always been a consistent President's Lister when she was still in school an achiever at heart! Her delightful interactions with people and her professionalism are some of the reasons she stands out among the rest
JOHN FYKE MINGI
Marketing Management, Magna Cum Laude Polytechnic University of the Philippines
Marketing Management was not even an option. I wanted to be an Accountant or pursue a course like Statistics and Applied Mathematics, but I failed to meet the quota score for Accountancy, while the other two have pre-requisite subjects When the enrollment was about to close, the College of Business Administration office was the only department with lights on, and that was how my college journey began.
This course taught me to be a critical thinker and come up with fresh ideas while getting out of my comfort zone Hearing success stories in the field of Marketing inspired me to go the extra mile, but there's no better reason than making my parents proud
What's the biggest lesson you've learned?
“No man is an island” – We are separate units functioning to achieve similar organizational objectives We are uniquely different from one another. At some point, we need others to rely on, and vice versa Sometimes a little push is enough to keep moving forward, so be polite and always be willing to help
GM VIZCARRA
Journalism, Magna Cum Laude
Polytechnic University of the Philippines
I entered journalism without even a background in the course, but I was encouraged that God placed me in such a position for His glory to be seen in my life from nothing to something
The pandemic was a big challenge for us; we also lost our dad, and that really affected my academic life. As the eldest, I needed to step up I actually thought of just giving up my studies, but then I was reminded of what kept me going when I first started that God placed me in that position for a purpose, and that's for His glory to be seen Omni was an answered prayer for me.
What's the biggest lesson you've learned?
Sometimes things don't go as planned, but what is for you will always be for you; therefore, whatever comes your way, endure and enjoy your season
MAR LEAÑO
BFA Information Design, Cum Laude Ateneo de Manila University
I liked how my course taught me to ground all my design choices not only on the technical principles of design but also on research and empathy We're challenged to consider how design exists to improve current conditions, big or small For my thesis, we had to propose a project to fill a gap in addressing Filipino food insecurity in the form of community gardens
What's the biggest lesson you've learned?
Good design is work rooted in other people! Falling in love with the process and not my first idea made me excited to collaborate and become open to feedback I developed a new appreciation for how each person contributes to a project and, in a bigger sense, a cause
ELLA TORRES
International Hospitality Management
Our Lady of Fatima University
I was in my third year of college when I tried applying for a job at Omni and I was glad to have passed despite being from a different field. Being a working student takes work. It's challenging to balance work tasks on weekdays and school work on weekends, or sometimes after shifts. But working at Omni has been a blessing to me and my family
I was able to give back to my parents, pay my own school fees, and buy things I like
What's the biggest lesson you've learned?
To use time management, prioritize tasks, and communicate well with your colleagues.

HANNAH CASPE Accountancy
Manila Tytana Colleges
My pandemic silver lining was surviving college life while being a working student. I needed to overcome my financial problems, but being with Omni gave me so much more Not only did I receive immense support from my colleagues from day one, but working at Omni helped boost my confidence, expand my knowledge and skills, and also grow as an individual.
What's the biggest lesson you've learned?
Learning continues From preschool to college, your academic knowledge will grow and expand Even after graduation, there are still a lot of things that you will encounter For me, there is always a space for new knowledge in all aspects of life.
ROM LUNA
Business Administration, Cum Laude Polytechnic University of the Philippines
Joining PUP Junior Marketing Executives made me experience almost everything from editing publication materials to doing photoshoots; from crafting professional letters and invitations to talking to corporate clients for sponsorship; from connecting with different schools nationwide to inviting artists and performers for events. I was able to get a glimpse of what it's really like in a corporate setting.
What's the biggest lesson you've learned? Being open to many things, be it an opportunity or criticism, while taking into consideration the pros and cons they have.
SHAINE AGUAS
Journalism, Magna Cum Laude
Polytechnic University of the Philippines
During my last two years in college, I finally got the confidence to join student organizations and expand my connections in spite of the restriction of being in an online learning setup. I also became the Vice President for Communication Operations of PUP Journalism Guild in my fourth year When I fully embraced how noble the role of journalism is to society, I realized its importance, especially in the fight against disinformation and fake news.
What's the biggest lesson you've learned?
I have learned to adjust, push myself towards a better version of myself and enjoy every moment and learning, so that’s what I will also do at Omni It will surely be a ride, and I wish to do my best here, as a new employee and as my first professional job in my life
ELAIRA LASAP
Journalism, Magna Cum Laude
Polytechnic University of the Philippines
Being a Journalism student is like a junior blacksmith trying to figure out how to build your mighty sword your pen And sometimes, the pen you've created is meant for a different paper and path
Two months before my online graduation, I joined Omni They were with me during my transition from college to "officially" working adult life Not only did they celebrate my win with me, but they also showed me a sincere supportive spirit
What's the biggest lesson you've learned?
To work with excellence but with a purpose Always be gentle to yourself. Sure, you’ll make mistakes but do not dwell on them Failures will only be failures if you stop growing and learning and don’t do anything about it It’s okay to be sad and feel negative sometimes; just pause and breathe everything is valid
HANNAH REYES
BFA Information Design, Ateneo de Manila University
Growing up, I've always been that kid who brought her favorite crayons and doodled to her heart's content I was always a visual learner and expressed my emotions through creative outputs The course allowed me to practice my passion – visual arts, while giving me an understanding of the business of design
What's the biggest lesson you've learned?
Stay true to yourself During your low moments, take a break, re-evaluate, and focus on what's important Don't compromise your values
ROY LOMIBAO
Business Administration
Rizal Technological University
I took Human Resources as my Major because it's one of the jobs that artificial intelligence can never replace Being a student in this course allowed me to meet and learn from many people. As an ROTC first class cadet officer, my course helped me establish proper rapport with my cadets, by establishing a balance between being strict and empathic
What's the biggest lesson you've learned?
Always give 100% in everything that you do And also have discipline and consistency
2022 marks the first time since 2019 that year-end parties are held without restrictions on gatherings Omni Channel Solutions' President, Vicky Trinidad Garcia, co-founder and Channel Bakers President Lionel Garcia, and special guest, Channel Bakers' CEO, Joshua Kreitzer attended the star-studded event coined One With the Stars: An Omni Year-End Gala It was indeed a night to remember and an extraordinary moment to see the trio together in a rare Live Omni event
The event culminated with a sensational dance performance from selected Omni team members, all Operations Managers, the Shared Services team, and the President herself The group did not disappoint as the crowd went wild seeing their Omni peers and leaders groove to the tune of popular TikTok songs
The night did not end without the superb performances of several team members who serenaded the crowd with hit songs from yesteryears The lone band performer, "Parokya ni AR" also played various OPM songs during dinner
What's a year-end party without a raffle?
As a way to give thanks to their beloved team members, Omni went all-out in providing prizes to the winners Two members won brand-new motorcycles; many went home with high-end gadgets and appliances The event capped off with a dance party with team members rocking and bopping to the guest DJ's entertaining musical lineup
Omni Channel Solutions is looking forward to what's in store for 2023 No matter the challenges, the organization is equipped with the right people to adapt and achieve more with high hopes, and this 2in-1 event served as a milestone that Omni team members will remember for many years to come

SETTING YOURSELF UP FOR NEW BEGINNINGS
First off, congratulations on surviving 2022! Give yourself a pat on the back for making it through the year And now that we’re headed into another one, we’re here to help get you off to a flying start this 2023
PhotographsbyKistyMea
TAKE A LOOK BACK
Start the new year by looking over the previous one What are the things you did that you were most proud of? What do you wish you had done differently? Reflect on your setbacks, celebrate your personal triumphs, and take a moment to find things you were grateful for over the past year.
Even if 2022 wasn’t good for you, perhaps you’ll find fond memories that shone through your darkest days worth looking back to.
GO AND REFLECT
If you left any item in your 2022 to-do list unaccomplished, it’s okay Oftentimes, we get caught up in this chaotic flux called life that we end up setting aside our goals to focus on new priorities, or sometimes, we grow and change our minds about them.
Don’t be discouraged. Jot those unaccomplished goals down and pick the ones you still want to go after this year. Better late than never, right?
SET NEW GOALS
Now, think of the new possibilities and opportunities around every corner What do you want to achieve this year? And what steps would you take to reach those? Be specific and realistic Don’t be afraid to take a risk and try out new things, but make sure to always have a plan to make them happen
CLEAR THE CLUTTER
Do you have those things scattered around your room or piled up in your storage that have been there for years untouched and forgotten? But, we can’t just throw them away because they may be useful one day, or we simply like the nostalgia and comfort brought by those items from the past Be honest, how often do you actually find yourself needing those things you want to keep so badly?
Go through your belongings and take out objects that no longer serve a purpose in your life Decluttering and organizing your space will do more wonders in your mood and mind than you think
PRIORITIZE YOURSELF
Oftentimes, in our efforts to keep up with other people’s expectations of us at work, home, or society, we end up having hardly any time left for ourselves And maybe, the thing about putting yourself last should be the first one you should change this year!
Speak kindly to yourself by responding to your doubts, insecurities, and self-criticisms with empathy Let go of the things you can’t control Allow yourself to say “ no ” to people without feeling guilty or selfish Remember, you don’t need to justify looking after yourself Ever
5
SO, WHAT'S NEXT?
Consistency and persistence are the keys, so move forward with those two in your arsenal. At the end of the day, we ’ re all just trying to survive, thrive, and be a better version of ourselves in this fast-paced, ever-evolving world.
So, let’s have a great year ahead!
