It is with immense joy and pride that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Omicron Epsilon Omega Chapter on the momentous occasion of your Biennial Beautillion. This year’s theme, “A Legacy of Achievement, Keeping the Dream Alive!” embodies the spirit of the “vision fair” created by our Founders and reinforces our collective responsibility to continue Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood.
It is truly commendable to witness your dedication to empowering young men The extensive program you have cultivated including leadership and etiquette training, HBCU awareness, financial planning, and community service reflects your chapter’s commitment to preparing future generations for success.
Your chapter’s significant investment in the next generation, as evidenced by the more than $70,000 in scholarships awarded in recent years, is a testament to your unwavering mission to uplift our communities and keep the dream alive. This extraordinary commitment not only equips these young men with tools for personal and professional success but also instills in them a sense of pride in their heritage and a responsibility to contribute positively to the world.
Please extend my congratulations to Beaus Knowledge Eiland-Maclin and Thomas Genewick for their dedication and perseverance throughout this transformative program. May they continue to carry forward the legacy of achievement that your chapter so beautifully represents.
Thank you, Chairman Nefer Mc Intyre-Mason, for your leadership and vision, which ensure that the Beautillion continues to make a lasting impact. Once again, a resounding congratulations to the Omicron Epsilon Omega Chapter on this magnificent occasion!
With sisterly love and admiration,
Shawn Emerson Simmons, PhD South Central Regional Director Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®
Greetings,
It is my pleasure to welcome you on behalf of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® - Omicron Epsilon Omega Chapter to our 18th Biennial Beautillion. This event is the culmination of several months of planning by the committee and preparation by the Beaux. We are excited and grateful that you are joining us this evening for what promises to be an unforgettable event.
One of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® mission is to be of “Service to All Mankind” and the ladies of Omicron Epsilon Omega certainly upholds this tradition. Over the past 40 years, the ladies of Omicron Epsilon Omega have been providing service to the Wichita Falls community. The Beautillion is one of our signature programs where we celebrate the achievement of young, African American men. Over the past several years, our chapter has awarded over $70,000 in scholarships to our young men in keeping their dream alive and we look forward to doing this for many more years to come.
The theme for Omicron Epsilon Omega’s 18th Biennial Beautillion is “A Legacy of Achievement, Keeping the Dream Alive!” Our Beautillion program is preceded by several months of educational sessions designed to cultivate leadership, cultural pride and character and positive self-esteem. Some of the activities we have completed during this program are: leadership and etiquette training, HBCU awareness and pride, mental health awareness, financial and future career planning. As a community service activity, we collected canned goods to donate to the Blessing Box and Natural Grocers and coats, blankets and winter gear to donate to Faith Mission. Our chapter is thrilled to celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of our Beaux.
We extend our sincere appreciation to families, friends, sponsors and donors who have supported our young men who are being presented during this Beautillion. Special mention goes out to Midwestern State University and Nothing Bundt Cakes for their generous sponsorship. A huge thank you goes out to the presenters of our activities. Gratitude is extended to our Beautillion committee who have spent endless hours making this event memorable for both the participants and the attendees. Pinkies in the air for a job well done Ladies!
Congratulations to these outstanding young men, Thomas Genewick and Knowledge Eiland- Maclin, and thanks again to all who have joined us this evening of celebration and recognition. Your investment into supporting this program is to be commended.
