FROM THE DESK OF... Marc Parulekar, OMEA Editor The Ohio Music Education Association is an amazing organization that is built on service and volunteerism. Each and every year music educators with no extra time to give, find a way to squeeze a few more tasks into their busy week to help keep OMEA working for our talented teachers and amazing students. Without the contribution of these selfless music educators OMEA would cease to function. I encourage all of you to attend OMEA district meetings, seek out small ways you can help your OMEA district run events, and find out if there are any committees or projects where you can lend a hand. The task of maintaining and keeping OMEA relevant is enormous and your perspective, time and talents are vital to our continued success. Many hands make light work. 2016 APRIL/MAY TRIAD We hope to continue the work of providing our membership with informative articles and timely information.
