Collaborated with a curator to determine the visual look and feel of a gallery. Dra ed/finished graphics, exported files from InDesign with print specs for production. Designed new donor a ributions using house font and brand guidelines, 3D rendered a mock-up in Adobe Photoshop, and exported images for a presentation to future sponsors. Updated exhibit graphics. Altered and resized archived files using Adobe Illustrator, printed mock-ups, matched colors, refined details, produced, and installed.
Worked with a cross-functional team of curators, conservators, and the Education and Accessibility departments to develop a polished visual aesthetic for an exhibit that satisfied a wide range of requirements/limitations. Gave frequent presentations on design progress. Refined the exhibit look and feel into print-ready graphics, labels, and title text using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator with guidance from the Design Studio.
Used the o icial style guide to develop visually accessible wayfinding strategies for museum display kiosks, wing menus, and accommodations signage based on a recent map redesign. GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Design retail and employment ads in Adobe Illustrator to elevate clientele’s branding. Finalize ad designs with client feedback, export PDFs with crop marks, and assemble cards onto spreads for the print paper.
Flow text into InDesign to typeset articles. Place and convert images to print-compatible CMYK color model in Photoshop, package files, and save to a shared server.
Initiated and organized a project to redesign the Media Kit in order to increase ad revenue. Generated over $13,000 from non-Tu s University clients the year following publication, surpassing previous years.
Communicated with editorial sections to compile article content on print nights, sequenced a template in InDesign, and assisted layout editors in typese ing and forma ing the paper. Finalized layout, checked to ensure correct stylings and elimination of typographical errors, exported PDFs with color outputs, sent print order, uploaded files to server, and e-published.
Set typographical stylings and master pages in InDesign, flowed book manuscripts and final copy into documents to typeset front, body, and back ma er for publication.
With an author’s input, designed a book cover using Photoshop and Illustrator. Created an engaging series of web banners and social media ads to promote publications.
Detailed a succinct visual strategy and color scheme for advertising departmental conferences and regional events. Created posters, sponsor banners, and event wayfinding. Designed informational graphics that provided step-by-step instructions for participants in graduate research studies, compiled files into a video tutorial using Adobe Premiere Pro. Improved visual navigability of microsites that promoted departmental research projects through front-end using CSS and HTML.
