About Property Law

Advice for Landlords, Tenants, Homeowners, and Property Developers/Investors may seem like it’s a pretty broad brief, but I’ve always been involved in Property Law right from the early days of my training. Issues surrounding this type of work are so varied that you rarely have two days the same, which is obviously a hugely important part of my enjoyment of the work. It’s probably impossible to learn and know everything about UK Property Law without needing regular assistance and guidance, and, like most others, I turn to the Online world for my detailed information when it’s needed. I have a few favourite online resource tools that I use often in my daily life, and I thought I’d give you a guideline here of what’s available to you. Every aspect of renting or owning a home that you can think of is probably covered in the Government’s website with topic pages available to assist on everything from Equity Loans, Land registration tribunals, Energy certificates, Discounts for first-time buyers, Help to Buy ISAs, and much more besides, the Government website is probably the most comprehensive Property Learning Tool available to you. If you want to look more into the legal side of property ownership and management, then the legislative side of the Government website is an equally excellent tool to be aware of with the Law of property Act thoroughly discussed and broken down. Although you need to subscribe to the legal aspect of this website, their blog resource is free and an excellent tool with regular blogs on newsworthy topics, clearly laid out and easily readable during a coffee break.
