Olga Musteata Curriculum Vitae
14.11.1987MoldavianB
I am a designer. I think about design as a philosophy reachable through technical means. Design connects various aspects like psychology, art, manufacture in one physical piece or Iplace.aminterested in Sustainability in materials, resources, and forces; unfortunately, sustainability is still on the opposite side of the conveniences. There is no “bad” space; there are always 2 sides to the same coin, the advantageous one should be explored and expanded; the disadvantages one can be treated as a potential for new ideas. Also, I am very curios about design possibilities that have the potential to lead to design innovation; so-called interdisciplinary approach.

Permanent Exhibition
Design Studio work

The exhibition is organized in a Movie-like Journey about Bertone’s life, to learn how he worked, how he thought, and how the context drove him.
The curves are transformed into various surfaces to create spaces of the stories. This curves also are transformed in a way to contain all the artifacts and the fixtures.

WALKING into BERTONE’s MIND
Location: Volandia Museum, Somma Lom bardo
21
Continuation of the whole space is tainedmain by creating some transparency through cuts, fragmented surfaces, and transparent material. This strategytriggersalso the curiosity of visitors.

22
Ergonomics is a discipline concerned with designing things and spaces people use so that the people interact with things and spaces most efficiently and safely.
Temporal Exhibition: Ergonomics

The aimed perception is the light and floating feeling of all exhibited objects. The space will be clean and pure with the focus on the objects. The combination between horizontal grid and vertical surfaces creates a wide range of display possibilities.

This is a multi-functional dormitory; due to the hidden bed can be transformed into a living room; the table can be used as a seat when removing the glass surface above. There were used neutral colors to adjust to both functions of the room and to provide enough reflection of natural light.

In this room are used tricks to optimize the functionality of this space: - the hidden bed: during the daytime it’s a sofa, and for the nighttime, it isintoextendedabed.

29
Thanks to it, there is enough space for studying and storage. The pale pastel gamma of the room and multiple sources of artificial light make the room visually larger.

Children are natural explorers and creators of their world. They get involved in the creation and learning of simple patterns, which implies his/her critical thinking and creativity. When the child is capable of discerning the forms he/she is capable to create deliberate shapes by him/herself and to organize the puzzle-like pieces properly.

This is a multi-functional unit. It functions both as a carpet and a developing toy. Ac tivities on the carpet are meant to propel children’s development. Performing natural activities on this carpet implies stimulating behavior. For babies from 6 months there are important the tactile feelings, grasp ing reflect, exploring of movement and transformation since those influence his/ her overall development.
