TIP OFF • The Rebels will honor senior G Marshall Henderson prior to Saturday’s game against Vanderbilt. • Ole Miss is seeking its first regular-season series sweep of the Commodores since 1983. • Ole Miss has blocked 169 shots this season, and ranks third in the SEC and 18th in the nation averaging 5.6 blocked shots per game. • Junior G Jarvis Summers is one of the most improved players in the SEC, as he ranks eighth in the league in scoring at 17.0 points per game and has increased his scoring 7.9 ppg over his average last season. He also ranks sixth in the conference with a 48.4 field goal percentage and fourth in assists at 3.8/game. He is the only player in the league to rank among the top 10 in the SEC in scoring and field goal percentage and top five in assists. • Senior G Marshall Henderson ranks second in the nation averaging 4.4 3-pointers made per game. Henderson has hit a 3 -pointer in an SEC record 63-straight games, breaking Pat Bradley’s conference record. • Sophomore G Martavious Newby posted his first career double-double with a career-high 15 points and 10 rebounds against Alabama (2/26). • Head coach Andy Kennedy recently moved into a tie with Billy Donovan and Wimp Sanderson for the third-most wins by a head coach in their first eight years in the SEC at one school with 169 wins.
