OLE MISS NOTABLES • Sunday’s game vs. Arkansas (3:05 p.m. CT) will be featured on Fox Sports South. • On Wednesday vs. Louisiana Tech, Carly Hummel, Shelby Jo Fenter and Madi Osias combined to throw a no-hitter (one walk) in a 3-0 win. The trio combined to retire the first 19 batters in order. It was the first combined no-hitter in school history. • Hummel was named the SEC Pitcher of the Week on March 10, becoming the first Rebel to win the award since 2009. • Hummel threw the first perfect game in school history vs. Utah State (3/3), and followed that performance with a three-hit, complete game shutout victory at No. 1 Florida. Hummel struck out 12 batters in each game. • Ole Miss’ win at No. 1 Florida was its first over a No. 1 ranked team since 2007. • Junior third baseman Allison Brown went on an 11-game hitting streak earlier this season (Feb. 14-23), which is the third longest in program history. • Senior catcher Marina Parra is tied for second in the SEC with seven base runners thrown out attempting to steal. • For the second straight year, Ole Miss went 5-0 en route to winning the Red and Blue Classic. • Spanning from the seventh inning of Ole Miss’ second game at Southern Miss (2/18) through the third inning vs. Saint Louis (2/23), Ole Miss played 25 consecutive innings without allowing a run.
