Ocoee Lakeshore Center is a beautifully designed wedding and event venue located in Ocoee, Florida The attractive and elegant 8,500 square foot center features picturesque views of Starke Lake, a full event lawn, and a spacious banquet room with soaring ceilings and modern light fixtures The historic Withers-Maguire House provides an additional on-site event space for intimate ceremonies, celebrations, and receptions. The team at the Ocoee Lakeshore Center will help you plan for a seamless and memorable event

Ocoee Lakeshore Center offers four main indoor and outdoor event spaces to comfortably accommodate up to 400 seated guests. Event spaces available at Ocoee Lakeshore Center include:

Ocoee Lakeshore Center rentals include tables, banquet chairs, audio/visual support, and Wi-Fi access All rental sizes include access to dressing suites, kitchen, lobby, pre-function area, covered porch, and plaza.

The Lobby entrance includes two wall-mounted digital signage monitors*. These screens can display messages for your event guests and participants. Space has been provided on either side of the main Banquet Room entrance to accommodate registration tables and event accessories.

The Pre-Function room is the perfect spot to unwind at one of three available portable bars Your guests can enter from our covered porch or the main Lobby. One digital signage monitor is available for photos, presentations, or seating charts*

Our spacious Main Ballroom can accomodate special occasions of all kinds - receptions, quinceañeras, luncheons, holiday parties, and so much more! Two projector screens, three digital monitors, and built-in speakers are available throughout the room for your use * . The ballroom can be subdivided into three smaller spaces

The Lakeview Room overlooks the outdoor plaza and Starke Lake

Perfect for corporate events, meetings, and social gatherings. It can be easily accessed from the ballroom One digital signage monitor and built in-speakers are available for your use * .

Built in 1888, the historic Withers-Maguire House has been tastefully updated with a modern kitchen and restrooms Rentals include chiavari chairs and tables. Maximum guest count of 49.

The wrap-around Porch is a picturesque spot to welcome your guests Enjoy the scenery of the Wedding Garden as you relax in one of our rocking chairs.

The Foyer and two Main Rooms can accommodate rehearsal dinners, baby showers, meetings, and intimate receptions The venue ' s historic charm is showcased in the beautiful Florida Heartpine floors and original light fixtures

The Kitchen is available for use during your event. Equipped with modern amenities, this space includes a fridge, food warmer, prep table, and a sink. The adjacent room is perfect for buffet style food service

All food and alcohol service must be prepared and provided by licensed and insured vendors. The City of Ocoee requires vendors to provide a COI (Certificate of Insurance) for approval by Risk Management. The Vendor COI Guidelines can provide more information on the City's specific insurance requirements

The kitchen is only available for chilling/warming food and storage All on-site cooking must be approved by City Staff and may only take place outside of the building on loading docks or porch.

Renters are permitted to provide their own linens and small centerpieces without providing a COI.

The use of self-standing or overhead decorations require proof of insurance from the providing renter or vendor These items include, but are not limited to, pipe and drape, balloon arches, photobooths, stages, and furniture rentals The Vendor COI Guidelines can provide more information on the City's specific insurance requirements.

Decorations may not be affixed to the walls, doors, windows, window coverings, or painted surfaces The use of tape, tacks, nails, staples, etc are not permitted to attach your decorations

Fog machines, smoke machines, and dry ice are not permitted Open flames must be enclosed in glass or casing, such as votive and hurricane lamps. Rice, birdseed, glitter, confetti, or other similar decorations are prohibited. Synthetic flower petals are only permitted indoors. Organic flower petals are only permitted outdoors.

The use of helium balloons are permitted, however, if helium balloons become detached from a display, the labor cost to retrieve the balloons will be charged to the renter

Renters are permitted to provide their own laptop for audio/visual entertainment without providing a COI. Renters are required to provide HDMI cord and any necessary adapters or cords.

DJs, bands, entertainment groups, and musicians are required to provide a COI (Certificate of Insurance) for approval by Risk Management The Vendor COI Guidelines can provide more information on the City's specific insurance requirements

Vendors utilizing a handheld camera are not required to provide a COI

Vendors utilizing additional equipment including, but not limited to, tripods, additional lighting, or photobooths are required to to provide a COI (Certificate of Insurance) for approval by Risk Management. The Vendor COI Guidelines can provide more information on the City's specific insurance requirements.

The following is a list of equipment available for your rental at the Lakeshore Center. Some equipment may be subject to change; likewise, some items may be added, deleted, or require a nominal rental fee. The venue does not provide linens. Floorplans are due to Event Staff no less than fourteen days prior to your event date

Floorplans are due to Event Staff no less than fourteen days prior to your event date There are multiple options to finalize floorplans Renters can design their layout on AllSeated.com, draft their layout on provided blank floorplans, or set up a Site Visit with the Event Staff.

All equipment listed above is available for use and will be set up prior to the start of your rental block, if a floor plan has been submitted If a floor plan is not submitted our staff will be unable to setup any equipment and will be unable to do so until the day of your event when you arrive, which will cut into your rental time

Any of the venue ' s equipment that needs to be moved, added, or removed during your rental block will need to be done by on-site Event Staff. All equipment that is not property of venue is the renter/vendor’s responsibility to setup and cleanup

In order to provide access to the venue on event day, a Pre-Event Walkthrough must be completed by the Renter or an Authorized Representative. No access to the venue will be granted before or after your contracted time. Any deliveries or equipment drop off/pick up must be scheduled during your contracted time Please be sure to communicate your rental period to your vendors for arrivals, deliveries, and drop-offs

Event Staff are not authorized to sign for your deliveries, so you must provide a member of your party to sign for any deliveries. Due to space and security concerns, items cannot be stored before or after your event.

Per the Terms & Conditions, all music, entertainment, and alcohol/food service must cease one hour before the end of the rental period to allow for cleanup.

In order to complete the required Post-Event Walkthrough renter and/or renter’s vendors must:

Remove all items brought into facility by renter or vendors

Remove all trash (excluding restroom receptacles) from facility and deposit in onsite dumpster. Mop kitchen floors and wipe down kitchen counters. Ensure all floors are free of excess debris and spills.

Walkthrough must be completed by Renter or Authorized Representatives The venue must be returned in the condition it was provided to the Renters All tables and chairs cleared of all debris. Waste and all paper products must be placed in the on-site dumpster. Any time used outside of the contracted time will be charged the hourly rate and will be taken from your Damage Deposit.

Sparklers, bubbles, glow sticks, and ribbon wands are permitted for your wedding exits. Sparklers and bubbles are only permitted outside of the venue. Sparklers must be disposed of properly in a bucket of water or sand provided by the Renter.

The use of confetti, throwing of rice (biodegradable, puffed rice, etc ), dried lavender, and sprinkles are prohibited Failure to adhere to these rules will result in a loss of your Damage Deposit

The City of Ocoee has a noise ordinance, which is complaint driven Renter's use of the included facilities are subject to the terms of this ordinance. Renter and vendors may be asked to turn down the volume or cease any activity found to violate the ordinance. The Ocoee Lakeshore Center can be booked 18 months in advance Reservations are open to the public on the first business day of the month For example, you could book December 13th, 2024 on June 1st, 2023

A confirmed reservation for the venue requires a signed Facility Use Agreement and 50% payment of the total Rental Fees. State sales tax charged on all rental fees. Booking appointments are completed at the Ocoee Parks & Recreation administrative office. You can schedule your appointment up to two weeks in advance at www ocoee-events as me/RentalReservation or by calling (407) 877-5803

All final payments, including the remaining 50% of Rental Fees and Damage Deposit, are due fortyfive (45) days before event day If a booking is processed less than forty-five (45) days before event day then payment in full is required.

Courtesy holds may be accepted and are held for a maximum of seven (7) days. In that time, it is not guaranteed that Parks and Recreation staff will call you prior to your courtesy hold expiration. Courtesy holds can be made in person or by phone

CANCELLATION POLICY

From the first tour to event day, we ' re here for you every step of the way. The information below details the most important milestones leading up to your event.

Booking Appointment: A confirmed reservation for the venue requires a signed Facility Use Agreement and 50% payment of the total Rental Fees

Final Payment: Due 45 days before event day, payment includes the remaining 50% of Rental Fees and Damage Deposit.

Vendor Contact List: Due 35 days before event day, your completed Vendor Contact List should detail all of the vendors providing services at your event. We'll use this information to request COIs from your vendors

Certificates of Insurance Due: 30 days before event day all required COIs should be submitted to reservations@ocoee org for approval by the City's Risk Management department.

Final Details Meeting: Within seven (7) days before event day. This meeting is an excellent opportunity to review floorplans, discuss event day timeline, and test your A/V. Let's iron out all the details!

Your reservation includes a free 1–Hour Rehearsal at your reserved venue. Rehearsals may be scheduled 30 days in advance and must take place Monday - Thursday (excluding Holidays) between 8:30am and 4:30pm based on availability.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

Any rehearsal requests beyond 4:30pm will not have City Event Staff present and the venue will not be accessible. If you need staff for access to the venue, please book within our office hours. There will be no appointments available on weekends.

Outdoor ceremony rehearsals can take place at any time except when an event is being held at the venue If you need staff for access to the venue, please book within our office hours Please call staff at (407) 877-5803 for more information on availability

For rehearsals that need access to the venue, please arrive 15 minutes prior to the selected hour to maximize time.
