Okeechobee Main Street is currently seeking sponsorships, vendors and volunteers for the 2012 AllAmerican Labor Day Celebration. This festival will held at the Flagler Parks on September 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Vendor spaces are available. Please check your mixer schedule! The August mixer will be held on Thursday, August 16th from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Seacoast National Bank, NORTH Branch.

This weekend from August 3rd to August 5th is taxfree weekend for school supplies and school clothing.

The Big Red Bus is still in town! Summer time is a bad time for blood collections as so many donors are on vacation. Please support this and other June drives and help Okeechobee help Okeechobeeans.

to get ready for this year’s games and ask you, their families and friends, to put in time supporting them in this drive. Let’s show them our appreciation.

Advance America, located in the Publix Shopping Center, will welcome many area businesses as, together, they hold a community blood drive. This will be a real Family Fun Day with Arnold’s Wild Life, the Sheriff’s Canine Unit, Martha’s House, Home Depot, Publix and many others participating. The “UNIFIED” event committee will be hosting an 18-hole golf scramble on August 4, 2012 at the Okeechobee Golf and Country Club, beginning at 8:00 am.
