I have attended several schools in my collegiate career and out of all of them, OCU was the complete package. The professors were outstanding educators and student advocates. The administration was approachable. The Office of Student Financial Aid was friendly and responsive. But above all, the entire organization seemed aware that the students were preparing for life after college and each class or activity was geared toward making that transition easier and more productive. The MSA program in particular had a very clear focus on connecting the academic world to the working world. I could not have been better prepared.

Advance your career with a graduate business degree! When it comes to getting a graduate degree in business, you have many choices. The question is, do you want a degree or an education? The Meinders School of Business is located in the heart of Oklahoma City’s business community. We pride ourselves on being the business community’s business school, business resource and business partner. Great universities pride themselves on having faculty who have PhDs in their teaching field. The Meinders faculty certainly meets that objective, and goes a step further. Meinders School of Business faculty are actively engaged with the business community so they not only teach theory, they bring real world experience to their students as well. When you take an economics course at the Meinders School of Business you are likely to have a class with Dr. Steve Agee, Chairman of the Oklahoma City Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank, or Dr. Sellon, who recently retired from a 30-year career as Director of Research of the Kansas City Federal Reserve. Think their classes and seminars are just theory?

For your marketing strategy and sales force leadership courses, you will be in classes with Dr. Mike Williams. Dr. Williams brings his background experience of more than 30 years in marketing and sales force management into the classroom along with current business management consulting projects in order to actively involve students in the latest business practices and real world problem solving. Dr. Williams is also Director of the Academy of Customer Excellence and Sales, a Meinders School of Business special program that provides an active interface between students and the business community. Dr. Beth Stetson works with students specializing in tax and is an attorney and CPA with 8+ years experience at the Internal Revenue Service. The Meinders School of Business is committed to providing you a mix of theory and practice. We expect to do more than just help you get a job or promotion, we education you to be industry leaders, innovators and executives around the world.

Choosing Oklahoma City University and the Meinders School of Business was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I was supported and guided during each step of my educational career. I owe a great deal of gratitude to the professors who made a difference in my life. I would likely not be a CPA today had I not received the guidance from one of my professors. This support system of professors and advisors helped me to reach my full potential.

Stephanie Shanor Ernst & Young

Pursuing an MBA from Oklahoma City University has been one of the best career decisions that I’ve made. The faculty and small class sizes have helped make the transition back to the classroom seamless. More importantly, I’ve learned how to apply the principles from the undergraduate level as well as developed lasting relationships.
