WELCOME FROM OUR PRESIDENT AND CEO

To our beloved members,

The future is bright for our nonprofit community. Over the past year, I have watched in amazement as your organizations achieved the extraordinary while working in your mission field. addition to those efforts, some of you hired new team members; others transitioned leaders. A few of you started a nonprofit, which I know is a difficult journey. I have seen your organizati build new buildings, create coalitions and launch new programs. There is seemingly nothing that our community cannot accomplish.

The Center stands as your proud partner as you and your organization grow – however that may be. We are beyond thrilled to have a home for Oklahoma’s nonprofits – a state of the art building in the middle of Oklahoma City where you can come to work, meet, learn, grow and collaborate. It is outfitted with the latest technology, so you can make video calls, have virtual meetings and participate in a professional development course while it’s being streamed all over the state. There are spaces you can use to host fundraisers, luncheons or board meetings. Our desire was to give you a space that will meet you where you are and help you achieve your goals. With the expertise and skill sets of a lot of talented people, we succeeded.

Simultaneously with opening a new building, we are launching th Center for Nonprofit Leadership in Spring 2024 – an innovative nerve center to cultivate, grow and strengthen leadership withi the nonprofit sector. From personalized executive coaching to peer-to-peer cohorts to management skill-ups, the programs will ensure Oklahoma nonprofits have the strong leadership needed to meet our critical missions. The Center for Nonprofit Leadersh will be your one-stop-shop for industry-leading programming taught by nationally recognized industry experts.

After the difficulties and challenges of the past few years, our sector is as strong as ever. We are able to boldly conquer the future equipped with the skills acquired from experience. We know there is nothing that our community cannot handle together.

Oklahoma is a better place because of each of you. Thank you fo your passion, dedication and commitment to your mission and our sector.

With gratitude,

2
