What is

GRAND -AM ROAD RACING? IS ONE OF THE BEST RACING SERIES ON THE PLANET. ROLEX GRAND-AM Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16 which begins its 11th season of competition in 2010 has established itself as the most competitive professional ENDURANCE ROAD RACING in North America. The Rolex Series Daytona Prototype category has attracted the attention of superstar drivers and universally recognized teams through its extremely raceable and relatively affordable format, and has revolutionized sports car racing with plentiful battles at the front of the field and close finishes in virtually every race. Like the Daytona Prototype class that has redefined prototype sports car racing, the Rolex Series GT class has done the same for high-performance, production-based sports car racing. With an eye toward the cost-containment and close competition that has propelled the popularity of the Daytona Prototype class, the GT category provides a stable battleground for the world's top automobile manufacturers. Perhaps best of all, the Rolex Series two-class format allows race fans watching from the grandstands or on television and the media covering the sport to follow the action with just two easy-to-distinguish classes of race cars Daytona Prototypes and GT. GRAND-AM races at some of the world's most prestigious venues Daytona, Montreal and Watkins Glen and has taken the role of a top annual attraction at some of the newest venues in the industry such as Miller Motorsports Park, Barber Motorsports Park, Virginia International Raceway and New Jersey Motorsports Park. GRAND-AM is also making a newest form of circuit racing "Stadium Road Racing" on the road course layouts at tracks like Homestead-Miami Speedway or Daytona International Speedway. The Rolex Series is also home to some of the best and most recognized names in motorsports Scott Pruett, Max Angelelli, Alex Gurney, Jon Fogarty and more and is a road racing showcase for NASCAR notables such as Jimmie Johnson, Juan Pablo Montoya, Casey Mears. Open-wheel stars like Dario Franchitti, Scott Dixon, Danica Patrick, Ryan Briscoe, and many others will also make spotlight appearances in the Rolex Series this season. In 2010, Grand-Am Road Racing continues to grow. Our acquisition by NASCAR gives our series the added clout of the World´s largest and most prestigious sanctioning body.

DAYTONA PROTOTYPE CLASS / DP Daytona Prototypes are mid-engine race cars purpose-built for competition. Capable of speeds in excess of 190 mph, Daytona Prototypes also feature the latest in safety technology, including carbon fiber side-impact panels and a multi-point roll cage. Daytona Prototypes are produced by five chassis constructors. Each chassis is designed and manufactured independently but highly limited by Grand-Am rules to keep the competition very close. Each chassis costs about $500,000. Engines are producting-based and include power plants from Ford, Pontiac, Lexus, BMW, Honda, Porsche and Infinity. All engines produce about 500 horsepower and have five- or six speed sequential gearboxes. In addition to Grand-Am specified chassis designs and engines, all Daytona Prototypes have a minimum weight of 2,275 pounds.

GT / GRAND TOURING CLASS The GT division is home to production-based race cars that are similar in appearance to the latest sports cars. But with carbon fiber bodies and similar technology found in the Daytona Prototypes underneath, GT cars are all business. The rules for GT -short for GrandTouring - employ several methods of equalization, including weight, tire size and engine rev limits, to provide an even playing field for a variety of international and American-made cars. Only in GT can one see nimble, flat-six Porsche GT3s take on big-bore V-8 Corvettes and Pontiacs while also mixing it up with Mazda RX-8s and BMW M6 coupes. GT engines produce between 400 and 450 horsepower and minimum weights range from 2,340 to 2,800 pounds. The top speed for GT cars is 180 mph. Costs for a GT car range from $250,000 to $400,000.

“The marketing people at GAINSCO attribute most of our GROWTH to the STRENGTH of the brand that we have gotten, frankly, by being here [at Grand-Am].” Bob Stallings Executive Chairman And Chief Strategic Officer, GAINSCO, Inc.

NO. 99 GAINSCO /BOB STALLINGS RACING PONTIAC RILEY

GAINSCO credits its four-year-old Grand-Am sponsorship with gaining new business in the ultra-competitive market of low-cost auto insurance. The Grand-Am team sponsorship has been the main focus in GAINSCO’s marketing efforts, integrating advertising, website, community and agent outreach. “We have internationally built our corporate grand and culture around the race car - it is the unifying icon of our company and represents our quest to build a truly outstanding, competitively distinctive auto insurance company,” said Glen Anderson, GAINSCO’s president and CEO. The company reports an average 67% increase in new policy sales during the two weeks following each os its showcar visits to agent locations. The showcar also visits industry trade shows to recruit new reps and travels to community events. GAINSCO has also use the team sponsorship for incentive programs that offer race tickets and hospitality passes to agents selling the most policies. GAINSCO’s success has mirrored the Grand-Am team’s success, with revenues nearly doubling from $99,6 million in 2005 to $190.5 million in 2008.
