Supplier Diversity at Eaton: AN INTENTIONALLY INCLUSIVE SUPPLY CHAIN
At Eaton, our goal is to become a model of inclusion and diversity in our industry. An important part of this effort is to build a supply base that reflects the diverse communities where we live, work and serve. Our innovative and inclusive supply chain solutions drive stable business growth and economic impact.
Throughout our company, we encourage diverse enterprises to compete for our business. We provide equal access to small, minority-, disabled-, LGBTQ+, veteran-, women-owned and historically underutilized business zone suppliers.
Through our supplier diversity program, we purchased approximately $1.42 billion in goods and services from small and diverse suppliers in 2021, representing 31% of our overall spend with U.S. suppliers. Our goal is to increase our spend with these suppliers to 40% by 2030.
If you would like to partner with Eaton as a diverse supplier, please register in our portal by scanning the QR Code in the image or by visiting Eaton.supplierone.co

OVERVIEW: The current economic environment presents substantial challenges for MBEs. When economic conditions worsen, MBEs are often the first to be impacted (and most deeply affected) by rising financing costs and the tightening of credit markets. Small business loan approvals across banks have dropped to unparalleled numbers. This is producing a slight increase in approval rates with alternative lenders, which typically charge higher interest rates. In this session, LSQ’s Miguel Serricchio will walk you through a usecase on how Corporates can leverage their financial strength and provide access to competitive financing options to their diverse suppliers (MBEs). Topics covered will include early pay and supply chain finance solutions that help MBEs thrive in disruptive economic conditions.
