her surroundings, both in nature and historical design. whitney’s creative process involves hand drawing each motif, then manipu-

inspired by a recent trip to england in spring, as bulbs began to emerge from their hibernation. winding on country roads from village to village, rows of daffodils in bloom. touring country estates with ornate gardens and fileds of frittilaria. taking note of architectural details and art nouveau designs along the way. spring in england feels colorful and hopeful after the winter months, pleasing our eyes with blossoming beauty.
