WORKING PLATFORMS AND SCAFFOLDING Our working platforms and scaffolding are quick to fabricate and are available for use for new construction, renovation as well as maintenance and repair work. You receive working and load-bearing scaffolding, open or closed, as needed, in one and the same structure.

They can be used all year round. A tent structure can also protect the surrounding environment – against possible environmental impacts, e.g. in the form of dust that can be generated in the course of work.

Secure quick and cheap protection of your project or product with shrink wrap against environmental impacts and fire and the environment against harmful emissions! Shrink wrap can provide optimal protection against environmental impacts even for complex shapes and structures, since the foil fits closely after it has been exposed to thermal treatment and shrinks. Shrink wrap can also be used instead of tarpaulin or tent canvas and can be draped, e.g. over scaffolding as weatherresistant disposable cover.

CASE: SCAFFOLDING FOR THE BEATRICE OFFSHORE WIND FARM Bladt Industries A/S was contracted to build 30 jacket foundations for the Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm. The work was done at the old Lindø shipyard in Munkebo. The area now goes by the name of Lindø Port of Odense A/S.
COST-SAVING GANGWAY The pictures are from the work process where the bottom and top structures of the jacket foundations were assembled (welded together). The gangway or the Layher FW system, as it is more accurately designated, turned out to be particularly advantageous for this task, since it saves a lot of material, personnel, time and thereby also money.
WORKFLOW The gangway and the associated cantilevers are put together on the ground, lifted into place and lowered down again with a crane. This means that the primary focus of the work at heights is on construction and dismantling around the jacket legs. The work with the Layher FW system placed major demands on the static work, but the job was done professionally and to Bladt Industries’ complete satisfaction in cooperation with our external engineer and the customer. As an element in the entire logistics concept, we provided a GEDA P18 lift for the staircase tower, where the upper and lower part of the jacket foundations were welded together. The staircase tower was some 40 to 45 metres tall, a height that the lift could climb in 1.5 minutes, which helped the customer avoid, among other things, a number of crane lifting operations. What is more, a lift can run almost all the time, whereas the operating hours of a crane are unreliable because of wind conditions.

INNOVATION FROM LAYHER

The Layher FW system is the latest innovative solution to come from scaffolding producer Layher, and this was the first time when it was ever used in such a magnitude.

CASE: SCAFFOLDING FOR THE WIKINGER OFFSHORE WIND FARM Bladt Industries A/S was contracted to produce 41 jacket foundations for the Wikinger Offshore Wind Farm for around 16 months in 2015 and 2016. The scaffolding job was awarded to Ostsee GerĂźstbau GmbH. Founded in 1993 the company has built up a wide range of competencies and know-how, a lot of which came into play during this exciting project. The experiences and know-how acquired specifically from this project manifested itself, among other things, in the subsequent project on the Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm.
WORKFLOW In addition to activities in other areas, there were 4 construction sites in the south hall, with associated staircase towers with a height of up to 25 metres and various suspended scaffolding in conjunction with the welding of individual components to larger units. There was further an outdoor construction site next to the south hall, which used a Layher cassette roof on a 45-cm-tall Layher lattice beam, as well as 23-metre-tall staircase towers with the appropriate ballasting that was computed for the job by our external engineer. It must also be noted that scaffolding producer Layher provided professional service during the design stage.
