Last week, we had our first ever basketball tournament on NBA2k! Traditionally, if we were in school, we would be having our annual 3v3 basketball tournament instead of the 2k tournament. However, due to our current circumstances, we had to improvise and have our tournament on NBA2k. Using the blacktop feature of the game, we were able to host a 2v2 game where the contestants followed COVID-19 safety protocols while playing at school. Contestants were allowed to choose players from NBA All-Stars to NBA AllTime Greats and played a game to 21 points. Thank you to everyone who signed up! It was an amazing turnout, and it was uplifting to see everyone enjoying themselves and having fun. Congratulations to this year ’ s winners, Tyler Contey and Westley Cailles, for earning a $50 gift card, getting their team name on the traditional tournament plaque, and for carrying on the tradition of Oak Grove High School’ s Annual 3v3 Basketball Tournament.
