OG Sports Make a Comeback

After a long hiatus due to the pandemic, most Oak Grove sports have resumed in the two spring seasons. For the first time in Oak Grove history, all sports are happening at once! Long awaited sports such as football, soccer, basketball, volleyball are officially open for play. Speaking of playing, JV Football and Women ’ s Volleyball recently held their first home games a couple of weeks ago. Varsity football brought home a victory from their first away game against Overfelt High School and JV football came to a close loss against Piedmont Hills. Games took place with safety protocols to ensure the health of all players and attendees. Audiences are limited to 1-2 family members per athlete to minimize the amount of people present. At this point general attendees are not allowed, so even though you are excited about all the sports happening, you cannot come to watch. Season two (which comprises 10 other sports) is in preseason right now and will begin in mid-April.
