OGGF Quarterly Report, July 2023

Thank You

I am pleased to present you with the OGGF Quarterly Impact Report for the second quarter of 2023 Although Mother Nature provided another wet spring, we were able to introduce another inspiring group of young girls to the game of golf during our Spring Clinic Series

In April and May, the OGGF hosted forty-three girls at five Northern Ohio golf facilities where PGA & LPGA Professional instruction was provided. We are honored that 58 percent of the participants were new to the game and chose to start their journey in golf with us. We invited all of the participants to continue working on their golf skills this summer by participating in our Ongoing Instruction Program where the student pays $50 for four private lessons and the foundation supplements an additional $50.

It is hard to believe that we are only a month away from another OGGF High School Showcase, which will be held on July 31 at Avon Oaks Country Club We are thrilled that once again this year we will host a full field (108 girls representing 28 high schools) We hope you will please take a moment to review the enclosed Showcase Sponsor Form and consider making a donation today

Thank you for your continued support! It's only due to your generosity that the OGGF has been able to continue to positively impact young ladies across the state for two decades.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Spring Clinic @ Medina CC

Spring Golf FUNdamentals With The OGGF

"Thank you for providing a place for my daughter to meet other girls who golf. "

The OGGF provided golf instruction to 43 girls in April & May Taught by PGA & LPGA Professionals, the clinics were geared to inform, educate and expand girls' knowledge in all aspects of golf from full swing to short game to putting

Fifty-eight percent of the participants were beginner golfers We are proud to have helped these girls start their journey in golf and then encourage them to continue developing their skills by inviting them to our Ongoing Instruction Program, where they can take private lessons throughout the year with a PGA or LPGA Instructor, partially funded by the foundation The future of girls golf is looking bright!

Ohio Girls Golf Foundation Showcase

July 31, 2023 at Avon Oaks Country Club

The Ohio Girls Golf Foundation’s mission is to encourage, sponsor and support the game of golf for girls by providing college scholarships, golf training programs and financial assistance to attend tournaments.

As a nonprofit foundation, the OGGF relies on you—our loyal sponsors to make these endeavors possible Our main fundraiser is the OGGF Showcase for high school girls, where LPGA Tour Professional Barb Mucha, along with other PGA professionals, graciously donate their time and talent to conduct a clinic, followed by an 18-hole tournament. Last year’s field is seen below. We also award college scholarships at the event.

So you can see your donations at work first-hand, we invite you to attend!

We appreciate the support from the corporate community, which enables us to further the growth of girls golf. See below on how you can help with our mission...
