Fall is just around the corner, and we’re excited to jump into a new season of fun, learning, and community connection!
After a hot and action-packed summer—highlighted by the grand opening of our brandnew Splash Pad—we’re shifting gears and looking ahead to everything fall has to offer. A big thank-you to everyone who came out and made summer 2025 such a memorable one!
This fall, we’re thrilled to welcome back our Preschool and Before/After School students for another great school year. Our dedicated teachers have been hard at work decorating classrooms and planning engaging lessons—we can’t wait to meet our 2025–26 students!
We’re also excited to share that our popular Flag Football League is expanding this year, with new teams for teens and females. Registration is open—don’t miss your chance to join the fun!
Our Senior Nutrition Program has a full lineup of fall offerings to support your mind, body, and spirit. From engaging programs and events to weekly lunches, there’s something for everyone. Check out their monthly calendar for all the details.
One of our favorite fall traditions, the Pineway Ponds 5K, returns on September 27! Whether you’re running the course or cheering from the sidelines, come out and be part of the energy as we wind through the streets of Spencerport and Ogden.
Time to clean out those closets! Our Townwide Garage Sale is happening on Saturday, November 1. We’ll be filling the gym with a wide variety of sellers, each ready to pass along their treasures to new homes.
Later in the season, don’t miss our Town Holiday Celebration and Christmas Tree Lighting on Friday, December 5. We’ll have food trucks, lighted vehicles, crafts, activities in the gym, storytelling in the library, and of course, a visit from Santa himself. We’ll finish the night with a festive tree lighting outside the Community Center. Come for part of the evening or stay for it all—it’s always a great time!
As we wrap up 2025, we want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to our community partners, fellow town departments, generous sponsors, and—most importantly—our incredible OPR team. Your support and hard work make everything we do possible. Here’s to a fun, festive, and fulfilling fall!
This edition of the OPR Program Guide has some new and exciting programs to offer to our amazing community! Thinking about trying out a new program? Be sure to look for the “New Program” symbol to see what has been added to the program calendar this season!

Ogden Residents,
I hope you all had a wonderful summer and were able to enjoy the beautiful weather we’ve been having. Whether it was running my four boys to various practices and games, walking along the canal trail with my family, or grabbing a frozen treat from one of Ogden’s popular ice cream shops, summer is always a special time of year in our town.
One of the most exciting highlights this summer was seeing the incredible popularity of the new splash pad at Pineway Ponds Park! It was heartwarming to see so many smiling faces cooling off and enjoying the space during the hot summer days.

Our team is composed of an assembly of part-time and seasonal staff, as well as contractors, volunteers, and civic and business partners, whom are all critical in our Department Operations.
I continue to be so impressed with the work of our Parks and Recreation staff. In addition to their regular programming, they’ve done an outstanding job managing summer camps and a wide range of activities for residents of all ages. And as we look ahead to the fall, their efforts only continue. They’ve put together another great lineup of community programs, from familyfriendly Halloween events to fitness classes, 5Ks, and senior enrichment, there truly is something for everyone.
Thank you to our Parks and Recreation team for their creativity, energy, and commitment to providing such high-quality programming throughout the year. Their hard work plays a big part in making Ogden such a wonderful place to live.
