The journey of a single sound became the heartbeat of THE LOUDEST CITY. Captured in one indestructible artifact known as THE CORE. It holds the SOUNDS of the city, it’s power unmatched. After the quest to find our echoes of existence last year, we’re on a mission to create our COSMIC FREQUENCY.
Strengthened by the CORE, our MAIN TERMINAL is opening the portals into space. It was built with the purpose of merging kicks, melody and energy with A MATRIX of light, laser and fire. The goal: to create a COMPOUND OF SOUND that resonates trough time and SPACE. Exploring the far edges of our universe, creating another dimension of SIGHT AND SOUND. This is the DAY you’ve been waiting for: the FIRST day of Decibel outdoor. We set foot in The Loudest City for the first time after a year of anticipation. It was raining during my set, but that definitely didn’t stop the crowd. Seeing their energy made it extra special.

The vibe was insane! For as far as I could see the people, it was unreal to experience.

The vibe during my Closing Session was epic. The crowd was more than ready for it haha! They literally gave their last bit of energy.

I always try to keep the energy high during my closing sets. The people already have a whole day of partying behind them, so you’ve got to end it with a bang!

there. When you’re in front of a crowd of this size, you want to make a sick edit of one or multiple tracks.
MUTILATOR
A closing set is often harder with faster mixing, because you need to ‘close’ the energy of the crowd while ending the evening in style at the same time. It’s different from a regular set, because you are more aware of the time and the moment; you want the people to leave with a good feeling, but you also want them to stick around for a bit.
It’s always great fun to perform with Boogshe and my dancers, but my favorite moment is probably the final track. Hearing everyone scream their lungs and seeing the lights from the stage shine on the crowd was amazing.
NOSFERATU
Spinning my newest track at that moment: Oppression. The reaction from the crowd was genius. When you play a track for the first time and the
crowd’s reaction is massive, you know it’s good. As a DJ, everything seems very small with this many people, so interaction is hard. However, when I saw the video, I noticed that the crowd was really into it.
MUTILATOR
My favorite moment was playing my most recent release “Resurrection” at the time. The feeling of euphoria and connectedness with the crowd was huge in that moment. Playing Twin Turbo continues to be a magical moment. Hearing the entire Mainstage scream along with the lyrics was an indescribable feeling. Goosebumps!

“I attended Decibel for the first time this year on Saturday. I wanted to go so badly, mostly because of Thyron’s Xtreme Xtacy set. This set at Decibel was my last possibility to see it live and my f*cking god he delivered! What a set. All of my best friends there, making special moments with me. I will never forget that. I didn’t really know what to expect since it was my first time at Decibel, but I had a really cool day!
Besides Thyron I absolutely f*cking loved Nosferatu’s Closing Session. I just have no words. 30 minutes of mayhem. Also the Abaddon Fallen Angel set was very sick and afterwards a little emotional, because of the fact that was my last time seeing MC Raise. “I’ve been wanting to go to Decibel since I first rolled into the scene in 2012. I was searching for a place to call home, because I felt I didn’t belong. Then I discovered Hardstyle and I fell in love right away.
I began to dig deeper and discovered the festivals. After seeing a couple of trailers and aftermovies I knew it. I wanna go there too! Online everyone kept
saying Decibel is like coming home and it gives you a vacation feeling. In 2023 I decided to take the chance and visit Decibel outdoor. I counted down the months and when it was finally time, I had the best time ever. When I stood there listening to the Euphoric melodies, everything I was thinking and feeling was fading away. The only thing on my mind was “Guys, I’m finally home. I’ve made it against all odds.” And it felt so good. The vibe, the music and the atmosphere of the people around you. Would you rather sleep in a hotel than at the campsite? Then you need to check out the different Hotel Packages we offer! You can choose from a one to four night stay in a hotel. A hotel package comes with a Decibel outdoor goodie, secure luggage storage and free transfer to and from the festival site on Saturday. If you are also attending on Friday or SAVAGESUNDAY, a Friday/Sunday transfer can be added to your package as well.
You can either stay at ibis Tilburg (only ten minutes away from the city
centre of Tilburg), Novotel Breda (the only hotel that offers a four night stay), Mercure Tilburg (located in the city centre of Tilburg), or Van Der Valk Tilburg (where you can use the indoor swimming pool, wellness and fitness facilities free of charge).
