Renowned chef Tom Brown is set to unveil his new flagship restaurant, Tom Brown at The Capital, returning to the hotel after making a name for himself there as Head Chef at Outlaw’s. The new, intimate 28-cover restaurant will champion Tom’s signature style of clean, creative, and flavour-led dishes with a strong emphasis on seafood. Offering refined tastings menus for lunch and dinner, guests can expect an explosion of seafood specials including Oyster in two parts, Scallop with buttermilk and vanilla and Cuttlefish ‘ravioli’ among many other surprises.

Royal Engineers Sports

In 1875, a football team from the Corps of Royal Engineers won the FA Cup, making this the only time a military team has won the competition. To celebrate this remarkable anniversary, the National Army Museum will be hosting a day of activities showcasing both the Royal Engineers and Army Sport. Highlights on the day will include real Royal Engineers divers showcasing the work they do under the waves, as well as a chance for you to get up close with some of the equipment and vehicles they use.
