This Women’s History Month, OETA unveils a dazzling array of documentaries that illuminate the courage, talent, and resilience of extraordinary women who shaped history.

Step into the hidden corridors of World War II with Women of World War II: The Untold Stories, where the “Fly Girls” and “Rosie-the-Riveters” reveal how they defied expectations and changed the war effort forever. Tuesday, March 11th at 8:30 pm.

Then, journey courtside with Independent Lens: Home Court, a riveting coming-ofage story following Cambodian American basketball phenom Ashley, whose journey to the top is as compelling as the game itself. Airs Monday, March 24th at 9 pm

For music lovers, Jacqueline du Pré: Genius and Tragedy explores the life of one of the

Trailblazers, Titans & Unsung Heroines WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH

world’s greatest cellists, with narration by Grammy-winning virtuoso Yo-Yo Ma. Airs March 28th at 9 pm.

Sunday Drama Premieres

This March, OETA’s Sunday Dramas transport viewers from the lavish courts of Versailles to the treacherous corridors of Tudor England and the ever-evolving East End of London.

Kicking off the month in grand style is Marie Antoinette: Season 2, premiering March 23, 2025. As the Queen of France ascends in stature, so too do the forces seeking her downfall. With the Diamond Necklace Affair scandal brewing and political tensions mounting, Antoinette’s fate hangs in the balance—especially as she faces the devastating loss of her mother.

Following this royal spectacle, Wolf Hall: The Mirror & The Light picks up where its predecessor left off, tracing Thomas Cromwell’s final years as Henry VIII’s most feared advisor.

With Mark Rylance returning as the cunning statesman and Damian Lewis reprising his role as the formidable King, the long-awaited sequel promises power struggles, betrayal, and gripping historical drama.

Closing the month, Season 14 of Call the Midwife begins on March 30th, delivering heartwarming yet poignant tales of resilience, hope, and medical marvels.
