EXPLORING TRAILBLAZING FIGURES

As Women’s History Month unfolds, OETA and PBS bring forth a compelling lineup of programs celebrating remarkable women who shaped history and defied societal norms. From the glamorous rebel of Mae West to the storytelling brilliance of Agatha Christie and the pioneering activism of Jane Addams, these documentaries offer insightful glimpses into the lives of extraordinary women.

During Women’s History Month, PBS pays homage to these trailblazing women and many other, as audiences are invited to reflect on the legacies and power of women to effect change in society and honor the contributions of women throughout history, inspiring future generations to follow in their footsteps.
