Gomez’s lawyer Tully Alford owes money to loan shark/con artist Abigail Craven, and notices that her adopted son Gordon closely resembles Fester. Tully proposes that Gordon pose as Fester to infiltrate the Addams household and find the hidden vault where they keep their vast riches.

In this remake of the classic French farce “La Cage aux Folles,” engaged couple Val Goldman and Barbara Keeley shakily introduce their future in-laws. Val’s father, Armand, a gay Miami drag club owner, pretends to be straight and attempts to hide his relationship with Albert, his life partner and the club’s flamboyant star attraction, to please Barbara’s father, controversial Republican Sen. Kevin Keeley.

So we at OETA are celebrating our legacy programs that are still going strong with fresh new seasons this month, such as Finding Your Roots, NOVA, Antiques Roadshow, and American Experience. As such, our promise for this new year is to continue to bring you the powerful storytelling that has left an indelible impression on generations.

As is our tradition, London’s New Year’s Day Parade begins at 6 a.m.

New Year’s Day, where you can catch Oklahoma’s Southmoore High School band perform! Also from Oklahoma, on Thursday, January 11 at 7 p.m. hear about the life and legacy of Will Rogers in Back In Time: Will Rogers, Oklahoma’s Favorite Son. As anticipated, Monday, January 8th at 7 p.m., the much awaited season premiere of Antiques Roadshow takes us to Alaska, where the worth of Bob Ross’s own Alaskan oil paintings are evaluated. These paintings are particularly unique as they pre-date his decades-long show, The Joy of Painting.

It’s the spring of 1940 and change is on the horizon for everyone in Skeldale House. James and Helen wonder when the right time might be to start a family, Tristan’s absence is felt by all, and Siegfried attempts to hold the growing household, and himself, together.

In the 10th and final season of DOC MARTIN, a year has passed since Martin resigned his medical license, and his wife, Louisa is now the one seeing patients in her new career change as a child counselor, while he looks after their two young children. But does the Doc truly never want to practice medicine again? All regular cast members reprise their roles. Guest stars making special appearances to send off the series include Lesley Nicol (DOWNTON ABBEY) and Rupert Graves (SHERLOCK).

Nature: Big Little Journeys Wednesday, January 10th • 7:00 pm Small animals, even tiny ones, must sometimes make epic journeys to find a home or a mate.

While the distances may not seem monumental to us, to these little creatures the journey is monumental. Grasses appear like skyscrapers, mounds become mountains and raindrops fall as big as cars. Meet six heroic, tiny travelers risking it all to complete big journeys against the odds.

NINA Thursday, January 11th • 11:00 pm Nina had to put her hopes of becoming a doctor on hold and interrupt her medical studies for 10 years, to raise her cancer-stricken daughter Lily. But now Lily has been cured and 39-year-old Nina takes her life and career back in hand by accepting a job as a nurse at Madeleine Brès Hospital. There’s never a moment’s rest in the Internal Medicine Ward, where Nina wrestles with the disdain of her superiors.
