LETTER FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Dear

As the year draws to a close, I want to send you a message about our team’s sincere gratitude for your continued support. Because of you, we can continue our mission to educate, inform, and inspire Oklahomans.

Last month, we began airing Ken Burns’ six-part documentary, The American Revolution. The series offered an in-depth look at the eightyear struggle for American independence and explored the experiences of the people who lived it. In the coming months, we will be hosting American Revolution screenings in Tulsa and Oklahoma City.

As we move into the Christmas season, don’t forget to enjoy the beautiful holiday concerts and seasonal classics airing throughout December on OETA! We have several Christmas specials that will entertain you and brighten your holiday season. Please encourage your family, friends, and neighbors to watch.

Your support and viewership remain critical. We are entering OETA’s December Pledge, this is our vital year-end giving campaign. Your gift, made by December 31st, funds the quality PBS content and awardwinning local programs you rely on.

We also have thrilling news: our beloved live pledge event, “Festival,” will return in March 2026. This major fundraising tradition has been on hiatus since 2020, and we can’t wait to celebrate OETA’s programming live with you.

Please watch OETA.tv and future Odyssey issues for details on “Festival” and other upcoming OETA screening events in your community.

Thank you for being part of the OETA family and Happy Holidays!

With gratitude,

VIEWER COMMENTS
