Consensus on Electoral Reform and ARMM Pilot for Biometric Election – The summit held in Shariff Kabunsuan Cultural Complex, Cotabato City facilitated by ARMM Development Academy (ADA) built consensus from among the stakeholders in the region to reform the electoral process in the region. ARMM OIC-Regional Governor Mujiv S. Hataman in his message during the Electoral Reform Provincial Forum pushed for general registration and cleansing of registration records to achieve clean and acceptable electoral results in ARMM. The Forum was conducted by the Citizen Coalition for ARMM Electoral Reforms Incorporated (Citizens CARE) on February 22, 2012 at the Regional Educational Learning Center (RELC), ORG Compound, Cotabato City.

20. Social Contract with Partners – with the facilitation from the ARMM Development Academy (ADA), the Social Contract has been forged by the Autonomous Regional Government with the Civil Society Organizations, Academe, Private Sector, Local Government Units, and with National and International Partners. The Social Contract is a commitment of the stakeholders to be undertaken for reform in governance; peace and security; and socio-economic development. The OIC-Regional Governor led the Covenant signing during the Forum on Social Contracting for ARMM Reform and Governance on February 28, 2012 at Shariff Kabunsuan Complex. OIC Governor Hataman is pressing for the 3 pillars of reform under his administration and challenged the CSOs to take a pro-active participation on ARMM governance, particularly with the independent monitoring and discharge of this current administrations’ open governance ARMM OIC Regional Governor Mujiv S.
