3.10 BANGSAMORO YOUTH AFFAIRS The Coordinating and Development Office on Bangsamoro Youth Affairs (CDO/BYAARMM) stands true to its mandates under Executive Order No. 03 s. 1997; to promote the vital role of the youth in the Regional Development and in Nation Building. It continues to acknowledge the youth as the leaders of the future. It established and maintained conduits with government organizations, local, and national to keep the youth abreast with the development, projects, programs and issues. On March 14, 2012; the Office facilitated the conduct of an Orientation Program on the Local Scholarship Program of Australian Aid for International Development (AusAid) which was attended by representatives from line agencies/offices of ARMM and from some selected schools.

The Office also conducted the First Bangsamoro Youth Leaders’ Summit with the theme: “Transforming Potentials: Leading the Future” held March 15- 16, 2012 at the RELC, ORG Compound, Cotabato City attended by youth leaders from the different provinces of the ARMM.
