This milestone is a tribute to the generations of fairgoers, exhibitors, volunteers, and supporters who have made the Fair a cherished part of North Dakota’s history
What began as a local gathering has grown into the state’s largest annual event, uniting all 53 counties and drawing visitors from across the country Whether you’re here for the Grandstand entertainment, the carnival thrills, the food, or the deep roots of agriculture and competition, I hope you find something that captures the spirit of North Dakota

FAQ
If I bought a reserved seating ticket can I move to the standing room section?
No . Standing Room tickets are only valid for entry to the standing area, while Reserved Seating tickets provide access to the seated section only . Ticket scanning at the gates are restricted to the specific ticket type purchased, and guests must remain in the section corresponding to their ticket .

What is the Grandstand security/bag policy?
No weapons of any kind (including pocket knives), bags are permitted and do not have to be clear, but they are subject to search No strollers No umbrellas . No folding chairs Signs are allowed

AMP Carnival has a trailer located near Gate D
Can I bring my dog?
Sorry, Fido! Pets are not allowed on the fairgrounds, although service animals are permitted
