Secluded Sports Facilities

The Amendoeira Sports Club is set in the private and secure environment of the beautiful Amendoeira Golf Resort near the town of Silves in the central Algarve. The full range of sports facilities are finished to the highest specifications.

The experienced Amendoeira Team ensures every camp runs smoothly from the planning stage right through to the training camp itself. A dedicated organiser is assigned to the team during their stay.

Football

Professional football teams have exclusive use of the immaculately maintained natural grass pitch during their training camp.

Gaelic Sports

The Amendoeira Sports Club pitch measures 80m by 130m and has genuine gaelic goal posts making it ideal for gaelic sports such as hurling and gaelic football.

When gaelic sports teams host their training camp at Amendoeira, the pitch is marked out in accordance with the team’s requirements.

Gymnasium

The gymnasium is fitted with a comprehensive range of Technogym equipment. In addition, the pitch side marquee can be arranged with a selection of free weights and adjustable benches for supplementary training.

5-a-side Football Pitches

The Amendoeira Sports Club also offers two 5-a-side football pitches, 6 tennis courts and a 1km jogging path. The main building houses a game room and the Sports Bar which can be set up for private team meetings.

Sports teams staying at Amendoeira Golf Resort can enjoy preferential green fees on the two championship courses: • Oceânico Faldo Course • Oceânico O’Connor Jnr.

Players can use the driving range, putting greens, long & short game practice areas without charge on the day of play.

Our standard package includes a complimentary Academy Experience for the whole team on the 9 hole, par 3 Oceanico Academy course—a great opportunity for team building!

Accommodation

Accommodation can be provided in 2 bedroom apartments (twin bedrooms) which are served by communal pools.

Alternatively there are 3, 4 and 5 bedroom villas each with their own private pool.

An exclusive shuttle bus can be provided to the team to be operating around the resort to transport players and staff from the accommodation to the training facilities and to the restaurant.

Dining

Sports menus (breakfast, lunch and dinner) are served buffet style at the main Clubhouse restaurant.

Pre-match meals and post-match snacks can be provided and specific dietary requests can be accommodated if requested in advance.
