“Ordinary leg ropes suffer from a “notch effect”. A sharp corner at the transition of the cord to the moulded end, where all of the stresses are concentrated as the leg rope is put under tension. Over time, this concentration of stress at transition causes a fatigue failure to initiate, as a result of the “notch,” which leads to eventual breakage. With “The One Piece Leash”, there is no “notch effect” as there are no sharp corners or joins and the stresses are equally distributed over the leg rope under tension, irrespective of the number of times it cycles (stretched). This leads to significantly less failures and a leg rope that lasts longer and won’t prematurely fail at the wrong moment”

Our DT2 Diamond or Square tread pattern combined with our soft brushed finish offers unbeatable comfort, performance and durability.

Tip Flex. Power Base.
This is the life of the fin. With a properly created foil, the flex of the fin is greatest in the tip. Different flex options for different conditions.
Locking in the Power Base to the bottom of the board has been a difficult engineering feat. The Power Base flexes just enough to allow it to fit most bottom shapes of surfboards.
Unique Undercut. Our unique undercut design combined with downward pressure allows the fin base to conform to a multitude of surfboard bottom shapes and profiles.
Leading Edge. A fully foiled leading edge allows the fin to lead through the water with minimum impediment free from cavitation.
Designed Screw Receiver. Our design eliminates unneccessary sideways force and maximises the downward force. Each screw produces a large amount downward force and this is what anchors the fin. A firmly anchored fin is the key to great fin performance. It eliminates movement at the base, sending the flex to the tip. It is the same as the glass on feeling, so popular with the pro’s.

NEW WBS DECK SKIN. Ocean & Earth has introduced a revolutionary new deck skin - WBS. WBS stands for Water Barrier Skin. The skin has an added UV inhibitor and anti oxidant, this results in a longer overall board life and reduces the effects of weathering. The skin also has an embossed texture that gives more grip and enables easier application of wax. The texture also reduces damage to the deck skin.
IMPROVED EPS CORE. The extruded core is blown from high grade polystyrene. The tight cell construction is 100% waterproof and adds to the overall strength and performance of the board. Internal stringers are encased within the core which adds to the strength and flex required.
NEW LAMINATED STRINGERS. The stringer gives the board its strength. Our new method of completely moulding the stringers adds to the quality of our boards. All boards have a double stringers which are the best quality laminated timber available, plus they have been specially treated for waterproofing.
P.U. FIN SYSTEM. High quality polyurathane fin system. Stiff enough to perform yet soft enough to be safe, this is very important for those learning how to surf. Also fins are totally removable for easy travel and storage.
