Paisley concert canceled — again Country star’s second shot at performing in OC ends for undisclosed reasons By Mallory Panuska Staff Writer (March 18, 2022) A Brad Paisley concert set for June on the beach in Ocean City is no longer happening. Officials with event organizer Special Event Productions Inc. announced recently on their website that “unforeseen circumstances” forced cancelation of the Sunday, June 12, concert. “All tickets will be refunded through the original point of sale be-

ginning March 14 … If you purchased your tickets through Ticketmaster please contact Ticketmaster,” the site said. “Refunds for tickets purchased through the Roland E Powell Convention Center Box Office, please go to the box office.” This was the second time a Paisley concert did not happen as planned. He was originally set to perform on the beach during the Jellyfish Festival on Labor Day weekend but a few weeks before he was set to take the stage, organizers postponed it. They said at the time that the concert would be rescheduled, and it was for this June, but now that date has also been scrapped. See COUNTRY Page 4
