MUSIC IN THE PARK Anastasia State Park Select Saturdays, May-September Friends of the Anastasia State Park are set to host a number of local musicians at the Island Beach Grill at the end of the park. Bask in the summer sunshine with the sounds of the ocean and a cool breeze mingling with the songs of local talent. The concert is free with admission to the park. Park admission is $8 per vehicle. PAUL SIMON St. Augustine Amphitheatre June 1, 7:30pm Paul Simon’s career is as distinguished as they come. He is the recipient of 12 Grammy awards, a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame (both as a duo in Simon and Garfunkel and as a solo artist). Limelight Theatre June 1-25 When The Nance first premiered on Broadway, the uproarious, vivacious comedy starred the legendary Nathan Lane and won three Tony Awards. The story follows Chauncey Miles who leave upstate New York to explore his sexuality and find a new life. In the Big Apple, he joins an effervescent burlesque show as a bit performer and, naturally, many hijinks ensue. Tickets can be purchased via the website.
