Our program now has enhanced cellular services which include minutes as well as 911 calls.

We actively sponsor programs and services which enhance the lives of our community residents in their homes and in the hospital. Utilizing the skills and dedication of volunteers and staff, the Healthy Home program provides the elderly patient after a hospital discharge, non-clinical services such as food, well-check telephone calls, transportation to their doctor and safe home modifications. These social determinants of health, when met, assist in providing for a healing home environment for our elderly neighbors. All services are provided free of charge. The revenue from the AdventHealth Hospital Gift Shop funds this nationally recognized volunteer program.

Mission Statement: Educate, support, and advocate for people diagnosed with mental illness and their family and friends.
Goal and Objective of 2023: The standing goals of NAMI Marion County are to educate the public about mental illness, work to eliminate the stigma of mental illness, advocate to increase funding for research and treatment for mental illness, health insurance parity, supportive housing and other wrap-around services. Through programs such as Family to Family, Peer to Peer, support groups, Mental Health Court Diversion Program, and The ORA Clubhouse, the organization reaches hundreds of those in need of mental health services and support programs. We look to increase our outreach to hundreds more by offering more programs and support groups to meet the increasing needs to for mental wellness education and support in Marion County
