Foundation has earned DEmark award for outstanding product design. The in-spiration came from the vast indigenous wisdom found in the traditional dress
of the ethnic minority hill tribes in the Doi Tung area combined with functionality of modern-day lifestyle that can be worn every day.
“The dress of the hill tribes has a unique way of folding and stitching pieces of fabric together resulting in a Zero Waste production process. This is the main
inspi-ration of this collection”, says Dr. Kris Yensudchai, the designer of this collection. Utilizing multi layers of the hilltribe’s handwoven fabric to create jacket that can withstand cold temperatures down to 10 degrees Celsius.
