OAT FOUNDRY HEADQUARTERS

After rolling out Picture Flap around the United States, we decided we needed our own display for Oat Foundry HQ. This idea also sparked an interest in revamping our front entryway because it hadn’t changed much since we moved in. We have come a long way with other products and want to show them off to guests and clients when they enter our office – plus who doesn’t love a Split Flap and Picture Flap combo?

We started the entryway redesign by painting our shelves. The Split Flap now pops beautifully on the red background. Next, we covered our dividing wall in a green clover-like blanket as a textured backdrop for the Picture Flap’s new home. Once we knew our Picture Flap will be a landscape format, we were able to select images.

Most of our images depict the history of Oat Foundry as a timeline. These photos are the star of the show – it’s one image across all 24 modules. We added some text in the corners for years and events, but made sure to keep these aligned with the bezel of the flaps. We implemented a set of collages on some of the flaps such as client logos, different custom modules we love, and beautiful past projects.

We have a huge print of the Oat Foundry logo. That particular artboard also has a QR code printed in the bottom right corner. We’ve been wanting to test out a QR code printed on our flaps for a while now. Even though the QR code image is divided across two flaps, phones can still scan it! Visit our office some time to give it a try.

In the end, we have the eye-catching display we were hoping for. The grass wall pairs well with the Picture Flap, as does the recessed nature of this divider. It’s a great compliment to the rest of our lobby decor. It is a statement piece. It’s way cooler than a static poster or decal. It grabs attention. It summarizes the history of Oat Foundry. It’s mesmerizing.
