Some 20 new businesses opened in June 2022 alone, indicating a strong demand for Food, Goods and Services as the city’s population edges closer to 50,000.
Oakland Park surges forward
Four of the projects currently underway will add hundreds of residential units, and the city itself is investing more than $27.4 million in infrastructure this year, including $17.5 million for facilities, $8.3 million for streetscape and mobility projects, and more than $500,000 for stormwater improve ments.
With its 100 year anniversary just ahead in 2029, the city of Oakland Park, Florida is preparing for more than just an exciting celebration.
