To receive the 5% annual payment discount, the full amount must be paid on or before June 1, 2025. If enrolling after June 1st, please contact our Accounting Department.

Fee is due March 15, 2025 and is not refundable, prorated, discounted, or eligible for tuition assistance.

TECHNOLOGY FEE

OFMS utilizes computers 1:1 at the secondary level and charges an annual fee for use of this technology. This fee is not refundable, prorated, discounted, or eligible for tuition assistance.

FIELD TRIP FEES

The secondary field trip fee is assessed annually and is not refundable, prorated, discounted, or eligible for tuition assistance.

ADDITIONAL FEES

Tuition does not include: school lunches, school clubs, athletics, private music lessons, speech services, extended day services, new enrollment fees, late charges, FACTS schedule change fees, summer camps, evening childcare events, or any other fees.

TUITION ASSISTANCE

This year we have invested $1.5 million in tuition subsidies and discounts for all families, with 33% of our students receiving tuition assistance.

At Oak Farm Montessori, we are committed to making our school affordable for all families desiring to attend. OFMS is a private, not-for-profit Montessori school. Our tuition assistance program seeks to provide financial grants to qualifying families who have completed the enrollment process and demonstrate a true financial need. Our tuition assistance program is not applicable to International students. Please note that 100% assistance awards are not offered, and that our tuition assistance program is intended to benefit families with an Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of less than $125,000.

Oak Farm Montessori is a community of great economic & financial diversity. Many families have low incomes and/or make life-style sacrifices to be part of the OFMS community. Please only apply for tuition assistance in cases of true financial need.

TUITION ASSISTANCE APPLICATION PROCESS:

New students applying for Tuition Assistance:

• Complete ALL steps of the Admissions Process

• Request the Tuition Assistance Application Information document from the Director of Admissions or CFO.

• Gather financial information and complete the application by April 7, 2025.

• Upload required documentation (2024 IRS Form 1040) by April 16, 2025.

• Pay the Tuition Assistance application fee.

Students currently receiving Tuition Assistance:

• Monitor your email account in January for the Tuition Assistance Application Information document.

• Make sure that your financial accounts with OFMS are current.

• Gather your financial information and complete the application by April 7, 2025.

• Upload required documentation (2024 IRS Form 1040) by April 16, 2025.

• Pay the Tuition Assistance application fee.

Awards will be communicated on or around May 9, 2025.

GROSS TUITION VS. COST

Did you know?

Oak Farm Montessori does not receive any funding from the state or federal government.

The cost to provide each student an education at OFMS averages $14.803 per year. And, the gross tuition per student averages $10,033.

BUS TRANSPORTATION

Oak Farm Montessori bus transportation to and from Fort Wayne is available for students in Primary (3 years old) through High School. The bus only stops at designated bus stops. If you miss a bus stop, please continue to the next bus stop.

HOW TO ENROLL:

• Complete the “Bus Registration” section in FACTS when completing the enrollment packet.

• Roundtrip bus riders: Select a morning and afternoon bus stop.

• One way bus riders: Select one morning or afternoon and the desired bus stop.

• To enroll a student that is moving up to Primary from Toddler, please contact the school.

• Pre-K students in Primary are required to be in a car seat, (provided by OFMS), with both a shoulder restraint and a lap belt. We can only accommodate 10 car seats on the bus.

• Current bus riders will be given priority, until February 3rd, using their current bus riding schedule.

• After February 3rd, any open spaces will be filled in the following order: current 1-way bus riders changing to roundtrip, siblings of current bus riders, current students new to the bus, new students.

• Registrations will be accepted until the bus is full and then a wait list will be created.
