PRESIDENT’S CORNER | EDITOR’S NOTE
Hey, everyone! Whether you’re new or returning, I hope the remainder of this school year will be fun now that you’re a part of Key Club! We got over 250 signups during Club Rush, so I’m excited to be able to reach out to so many people virtually and get students’ volunteer hours up! Getting into Key Club can be strange. All of a sudden, you receive lengthy emails with a bunch of instructions and details for multiple service projects. There’s a membership payment of $12 due shortly. Still, it’s so much simpler than it may seem! You can choose how much time you want to dedicate towards each event because you get to complete them in your free time, and I think that’s so important towards protecting our wellness during quarantine. You can have a weak or strong commitment depending on your availability. The more you put into the club, the more you will get back. So, for the younger members, I encourage you to start trying early. Now is the time, not later! Starting is the most difficult part of anything, but once you get over that hump, you’ll get into the groove of it. Then, you’ll feel so much more comfortable getting involved later on, especially when we go back to volunteering in-person. Hope to see you volunteer!

Hi people! Welcome back to another newsletter, my sixth one in fact :0 The term is passing by very quickly and it scares me a little, but we have a lot to look forward too! Next month, we have November DCM and hopefully you’ll join us for whatever our DLT have in plan. Along with that, we have the Among Us Marathon, which is definitely a quarantine favorite, so feel free in joining us to find the imposter >:) Anyways, last month was different because we would typically have club rush. Even though it wasn’t as exciting because it was online, hopefully you enjoyed checking out our page and didn’t have any problems paying your dues. That’s all I have to say for now. Stay healthy and take care of yourself well. I’ll see you in the next newsletter. Ok bye now!

Sun-cerely, Christina Nguyen Christina Nguyen
