GANGSTERISM IN AIA One hour before the crime, the village looked like a desert, due to the responsible attitude of the residents from Aia. Before the crime, you could only see some kids helped by their parents walking on the road which turns around the cemetery. I also have to mention that at that time, the kids were at their virtual classes and the parents had gone to work early in the morning and hadn’t come back yet. Later, after lunchtime, people started to be more active, going running or riding bicycles. What those people didn’t know was that it was about to happen an act of gangsterism.... In that moment, Johnny went running from his house to the centre of the village, because he had been living in a farm quite far away from there since he was born. Just when he was arriving at the main square, a group of gangsters appeared in five motorbikes and surrounded Johnny. The gangsters had pointed him with guns just before they told him to give them all his belongings. Johnny hadn’t found a way to escape from that situation, so he gave his mobile phone and wallet to the gangsters. After this, they all run away speeding in their motorbikes. Although Johnny had called the police just a few minutes later the gangsters ran away, it was too late, and the policemen didn’t get to trap the criminals. Nerea Cubero

I'm going to speak about the hijacking case here in Zarautz. One year ago , there was a cooking competition, and Karlos ArgiĂąano won it. He won 50000euros . It was one of the most important competitions of cooking. The money that he won would be deposited in his bank account. Time was passing by and he hadn't deposited in his bank account. But , he didn't worry. Some months later , he phoned the company of the competition , and they told them that they had deposited the money. Karlos was very worried. He phoned the police. The police started investigating day and night and they found one account in the black market that had paid something with 50000euros. So they put in contact with the boy that had hacked the account, they met, and they were arrested. Karlos with the money, the hijacker arrested and all the people good. Claudio Eizagirre

Hooliganism in young people matches Hooliganism is more common in football matches and yesterday in the match Zarautz against AĂąorga that. At first, the game was quiet and nobody was aggressive. Suddenly, one of AĂąorga had scored a goal but the referee whistled offside. All started there. When the referee whistled something against AĂąorga, the public began to shout. Also there was somebody who insults! While the match was finishing, Zarautz had scored a goal and unexpectedly a man jumped into the football field, many others repeated what he did. Immediately the place where they were playing, it was full of people fighting. Before the referee had finished the match, they called the police to stop this hooliganism. Later the police who finally stopped the fight were there. Before the police had tried to stop, 5 people got arrested. Now they need to pay a 500 euros penalty fee and the match is going to be played next weekend in the same place but without the public. Nahikari Eizagirre

MUGGING IN ZARAUTZ:

Two days ago, a mugging happened in Zarautz. It is not usual to see that kind of thing, in Zarautz, because it’s a very safe town. At 9pm, a young woman was going to her house, alone, but suddenly, he saw a man chasing her, and she got nervous, and started to walk faster, when she thought that she lost the man, he appeared in front of her, and attacked her. The men took the important things that the woman had, (the phone, the money‌) and tried to escape, but luckily a police officer was near, and started to chase the mugger, while he was calling the police. Fortunately, the police caught the mugger and gave back the things that the mugger had robbed. After this happened, the police officers started to patrol that place to avoid more muggings, and that kind of thing. The mugger paid a fine, and promised that he wouldn’t do that again. I was buying food in Eroski, because with these things of quarantine all we can do is go out to buy things or take the dog out. So, I went out to get fresh air and to buy things. I went alone because I live near to Eroski and it isn't any problem to go there. While I was buying food inside Eroski, I saw a woman crying and another man going out from Eroski running. I thought that was so strange, so I went to the young woman and I asked her what happened with that boy. She told me that the boy stole her wallet, so I went behind the boy running. I called the police and they helped me to keep the boy, we did it. While the boy was running the police caught him. All the people were so happy and a little bit scared about the crime. A lot of people say thanks to me for calling the police and for going behind the man. The young woman looked at me a little bit scary and she gave me a hug. I was so happy, because I helped that pretty woman taking the thief. Maren Gonzalez

A ROBBERY IN A SHOP Last night, two robbers tried to get into a shop and/to steal as much as they could. It was around 3am in the morning when some people living around the shop heard a loud noise, they described the noise as a glass breaking. One of the people who lived around, went to the balcony to see what was happening and was one of the robbers, so she called the police officers. Suddenly, the robbers heard the noise of the police cars and tried to escape but it was already too late. The police officers arrested the two robbers, the woman who called the police said that the funniest part was when one of the policemen realized his son and his son´s friend were the robbers. Finally they closed the shop so no one could rob and made sure no one was hurt. In some days the judge will take a decision of sending the robbers to jail or if they will just have to pay an amount of money. Ane Iribar

He was outside with the gums, but he knew something was wrong. Finally, he decided to go to the police station and he told all the truth. When he arrived, they opened the pack of gums and inside the pack, were some drugs. Immediately, the police went to Eroski to catch the smuggler. WHEN DREAMS COME TRUE AFTER A TERRORISM Nothing happened during this quarantine, but things are changing and the peace of our streets too. “It was a normal confinement day, I was running when I heard the explosion. I was scared, I had never been in such a strange situation, but the worst part is that I was alone.” Declared Julia, a 20 year old woman. Immediately, she started crying as loud as she had ever shouted. After that, she started going into the sound direction-she was in the library where she always goes to study. She was shocked, all the library was destroyed. At first, she had thought to enter there, but maybe it was a better idea to call the police. After some question-answer dialogue, she entered in the ruins and saw people who made the smashed. Without thinking twice, I started running to catch them. Julia was an expert runner, so she was stopping them from escaping before the police arrived. It could’ve been dangerous, but the terrorist hadn’t thought how powerful the impact could be, so they were tired of fighting. In the end, she had the option to be a police officer, the dream of her life. Uxue Otaduy

The thieves in the street Last month in Zarautz, there were a lot of shops closed. Most of the shops were clothes shops. In the street weren’t any people. The thieves took advantage because it wasn’t any person in the street. They entered one shop. They moved a lot of things to find the money and they found it, it was in the secret room. They robbed and they disappeared. In Ganbara, whose owner is Julen Etxeberri, they robbed. Julen said that every day he goes to clean the shop. On that day, he had gone to the bank before he went to the shop. When he entered the shop, thieves had robbed all the money. The shop was destroyed. He immediately hired one private investigator. The private investigator was very clever. Julen said to everyone what had happened. He wanted to recover the money which the thieves had robbed. But the private investigator wasn't good because he had done a blackmail to the thieves in exchange for the money that they robbed and the private investigator had all the money. The police didn’t find him, because he had gone to the USA . Unax Otermin

Crimes in Zarautz What happened? How did it happen? We're all asking ourselves the same questions... It was three o'clock in the morning and two men, brothers, were preparing for a perfect robbery. At seven o'clock in the morning, the National Bank of Zarautz was opened, and they were ready. So they just opened, and they came like two tourists, and when they passed the entrance test, they took out of a pocket two guns and a grenade. They blackmailed people by blowing up the grenade right there, but they didn't. When everyone was on the ground, they took all the money they could get and they left. But when they realized, they were surrounded by police, and only one could get away with the plan B, which was one would distract the police and the other would run. So the guy with the grenade didn't think twice about throwing it where the police were, and he threw it. The grenade hit the other brother, so out of twenty police, ten police died, and his brother lost his leg. Because he lost a lot of blood, he died on the way to the hospital. When the news appeared in the newspaper, the brother decided to turn himself in to the police, because they decided that if one of them was caught, the other would be arrested too. So a few days later the brother gave himself up with fifty thousand euros in his wallet

Is there industrial spying in Zarautz? In Zarautz there are many more industries. Are there industrial spying? Are they competitive? In Zarautz there are important industrias for example the coach, mobile phones etc. But there are two industries that are a increible competitive. Both are coach industries . One industry started a new project: they were doing a flying coach. Then the other industry contracted one investigator to spy the other industry. Then the spy saw the new project of the flying coach. Then the security caught the spy. The spy went to prison because the spy was in a private industry. At the beginning the spy didn't say anything but later he cheated all of the police. The other industry was pissed off. Then the industrial report was sent to another industry. Because that was illegal. This history finishes here. Roman Urteaga

What did just happen? How many times have you heard about a crime in your own town? Well, this is not that typical. You normally don’t expect it. That is what happened in Zarautz a few weeks ago. It all started when an old man, called Hilario, was going to the supermarket at his hour during quarantine. At that hour only older than 65 people can get out . At first, everything seemed to be normal, but something unexpected was going to happen. While he was walking through the street, suddenly, he saw a suspicious man. The man was all covered, what is normal at this point, but he was a man who had two really big bags with him. The old man had heard about disrespectful people that went out without caring, so when he saw him, he decided to call the police. Immediately a police officer came. What the old man had told the police was that a young man was in the street, but the police officer found out that the young man was dealing with lots of kilograms of drugs. In the end, they interrogated the drug dealer, and as he had told the police, he had more kilograms in a secret place. He was going to sell them to a man, when the police caught him. After this, the judge of the local council accused him of drug dealing. He had been arrested and then, he was taken to prison. While this was happening, Hilario, who called the police, received an award, and now he is known as the drug dealing detective. 2020.05.02 Maddi Azpitarte
