In this three-year, 78-credit (or 80-credit, with specialization) program, you learn how to help patients recover from injury, overcome disabilities, and live independently, while improving their physical, social, and emotional skills. Acquire a firm grasp on the art and science of evaluating, diagnosing, and providing valuable treatment as you prepare for the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Examination. In 2020, the licensure pass rate for our students was 94 percent, compared to the national average of 89 percent.

The combined Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)/Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Medical and Biological Sciences is a highly competitive seven-year program designed to develop well-trained osteopathic physician-scientists who will, through their research, drive the practice of medicine into the future.

The nine-credit interdisciplinary Global Health certificate program engages students in health policy, practice, and challenges on a global scale. In addition to coursework, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in fieldwork and faculty-supervised research.

The Émigré Physicians Program (EPP) is a four-year, full-time medical education program established to retrain émigré physicians born and educated outside of the United States to become Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) in the U.S.

The five-year program, comprising the M.S. in Academic Medicine and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degrees, prepares highly motivated students for a career in academic medicine that includes medical education, research, and clinical practice in an academic health care setting.

The Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences (B.S.M.) is designed to improve the candidacy of individuals interested in attending medical school. The program, offered in Jonesboro, Ark., has five components: Scientific Foundation of Medicine, Clinical Inquiry, Critical Thinking, Research, and Seminar. The 33-credit program can be completed in one year.

The Graduate Scholar Award

•A bachelor’s degree with a 3.3 CGPA.

High-achieving students may be eligible for a $3,000 per-year, tuition-only award for a maximum of three years (six semesters) of continuous full-time (nine credits) enrollment.

If you take less than nine credits per semester, your award will be prorated.

•A pplicants admitted with conditions will be evaluated based on academic requirements.

The Graduate Alumni Award

•A bachelor’s or master’s degree from New York Institute of Technology. Students in a combined degree program are not eligible.

As part of our continued commitment to our alumni, this award consists of a $1,000 tuition-only credit for every three credits for which a student is registered, up to a maximum of $3,000 per semester or $6,000 per academic year.

The Mayor’s Graduate Scholar Program This award is for students who work for the Office of the Mayor of the City of New York and meet the graduate program’s eligibility requirements.. It consists of $3,000 per year for up to three years or six semesters. This scholarship cannot be combined with the Graduate Scholar Award.

Graduate Assistantships New York Tech offers a number of graduate assistantships to qualified students enrolled in our graduate degree programs, providing partial or total tuition remission.
