After a much anticipated wait, Ocean Alexander has unveiled the latest addition to its Explorer superyacht series, the 27 Explorer (27E). Designed for long stays aboard, the 27E’s interiors are large and comfortable with many luxurious finishes. Ample seating areas in the salon, dining, and sky lounge are complemented with a wet bar, a custom-made grill, and an optional jacuzzi. The fiberglass-hulled 27E is built for socializing and entertaining with family and friends. One of the most noticeable features is the hydraulic swim platform. With fold-outside-terrace wings, the platform expands to nearly 225 square feet of space to hold a 32
multitude of water toys with room to spare for guests. The cockpit can be accessed by a dual set of curving stairs on both sides of the aft deck. Wide side decks bring guest forward to the bow lounge behind a large sun pad. The bridge deck offers another exterior gathering area with a spacious forward wraparound aft lounge. With a beam of more than 20 feet, the interiors in the 27E are nearly as accommodating as the exterior spaces. From the aft bridge deck, the sky lounge, offering 360-degree views, blends in with a more climate-controlled environment, complete with an L-shaped settee across from two freestanding chairs.
