Learn To Swim Intensive Courses Minimum age 4 years
Family Fun Session
9 - 9.30am, 9.30 - 10am, 10 - 10.30am, 10.30 - 11am £21.50 per course These courses will follow the Learn To Swim pathway, which is the all-inclusive programme that takes the non swimmer from their first splash to developing confidence and competence in the water. Stage 1: developing basic movement skills, water confidence and safety awareness, using swim aids Stage 2: safe entries into the water and continuing to practice floating, travel and rotation in the water, using swim aids Stage 3: working towards being able to swim10m on front and back and will be able to swim underwater to collect objects from the bottom of the pool. Rotation skills and water safety knowledge will also be developed Stage 4: focussing on refining kicking techniques for all four strokes and develop a better knowledge of buoyancy
Every Monday 12 noon - 1pm and Wednesday 11am - 12 noon Featuring: River Rider Rings, Big Floats and Sink Toys Under 8’s must be accompanied by an adult Cost £2.90* - Junior £3.60* - Adult
National Pool Lifeguard Qualification 16 + years 8.30am - 5pm Course 1: 5 - 9 August + exam Course 2: 19 - 23 August + exam Cost £220 The RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard qualification is the most awarded lifeguard qualification in the UK the complies with the industry guidance.
