Would jesus be on twitter? Welcome to the NW Ministry Conference! I was recently at a dinner with some friends who work at Microsoft and I thought I’d ask these movers and shakers what they thought,“Would Jesus be on Twitter?” Without a moment’s pause they all said,“NO!” I was a little taken back at how quickly they responded and with such certainty. When pressed, their explanation was that they saw Jesus as a doer not a “sender of tweets.” (There’s obviously nothing wrong with texting. For many it’s the best way to stay in touch with their children at school or family at Costco.) But I guess these hi-tech guys saw Jesus as one who was doing His Father’s will. Jesus, in their opinion was not the type to send the following tweet:“Hey guys, what are we going to do? There’s like 5,000 people here and only 1 kid brought a lunch!” Technology is amazing. We can have devotions by viewing our cell phones, tell others about church by showing them the website, and spend time in worship by listening to our MP3 player. Yet Jesus did say,“Go out and make disciples...” Matt. 28:19, not just send a tweet. Thank you for being a Doer! Getting the Most From Your Conference Experience Check out the workshops that will benefit you in your area of ministry and then explore others in an area of interest. Remember to schedule some “Joy Time” that will recharge you. Exhibits & Food This year you’ll find one of the largest ministry exhibit areas in the country. Sign up for drawings, get valuable advice and see the latest in ministry helps. Don’t forget to take home a ton of stuff.Your people will love you for it! Wonderful food will be on site. Wishing you a great conference, Gary & Dave and the NWMC Committee

For promotional purposes, video and photography will be taken at the conference. Your registration constitutes permission for NWMC to use your picture in promotional materials.

L.O.S.T.

But now I’m found

from the creators of the best-selling kids musical “We Are United” comes another fun island adventure from the creative team of Pam Andrews and Johnathan Crumpton. Take a voyage with the Captain and his first mate, along with the crew of the S.S. Hope on a day cruise that gets caught up in a storm and becomes stranded on an island. Come see how the storms of life confront us to evaluate if our faith is built on the shifting sand, temporary things of life; or the Solid Rock, Jesus Christ. This 45-minute dramatic musical is full of fun and adventure through songs, drama and most importantly the Word of God which is the road map to salvation no matter what storms pass your way.

Songs include: • We’re Setting Sail • In the Middle of the Deep Blue Sea • Look to the Light with This Little Light of Mine • Gonna Build My House with The Solid Rock • Fruit of the Spirit • Waves of Mercy, Waves of Grace • We Believe with Amazing Grace • You Found Me • Deep and Wide with We’re Setting Sail (Reprise)
