Parent-Child Mother Goose
A program for parents and their babies (from birth to 12 months), the Parent-Child Mother Goose Program® focuses on the pleasure and power of learning rhymes, songs and stories. Sessions for Winter 2011: • Thursdays, 9:15am - 10:15am, January 20th - March 24th • Thursdays, 10:45am - 11:45am, January 20th - March 24th Free; registration required. Red Cedar Book Club Author Visit with Sarah Ellis
Thursday, January 20th, 3:45pm - 4:30pm Kids in grades 4 to 7 are invited to come meet author Sarah Ellis at this Red Cedar Book Club event at Lynn Valley Main Library. Ellis is nominated for a Red Cedar Book Award for her work of fiction, Days of Toil and Tears. Each year, students get to decide who will get the Red Cedar Book Award by voting for best fiction and information books. Come in to Lynn Valley Main Library any time after Christmas to pick up your reading log to get started reading nominated titles. Free; no registration required.
Chamber West Concert
Thursday, January 13th, 7:00pm- 8:30pm Join the Chamber West Woodwind Quintet and North Shore’s Double Reed Ensemble for a concert at the Library.
