Access to solution

Lower your media use and improve your yields. Plants sit on the Gro-Tank’s sloping tray and nutrient solution is constantly pumped from the tank over the bare roots on the tray above. Whatever the roots don’t take up flows down the slope and back into the tank.

The solution is continuously oxygenated with an air tube. The roots have unrestricted access to nutrient solution and oxygen – maximising nutrient solution uptake and growth. NFT doesn’t require media. Well-rooted plants are added to the Gro-Tank without the need for media. There’s no going back from a Gro-Tank – the results are incredible.

Complete control over feed times, maximise nutrient uptake and accelerate growth for your best ever crop.

The best-selling modular system. Outstanding drainage. Add pots whenever needed.

HOW IT WORKS At the feed times, solution is pumped from the water butt to each pot. Plants take up the solution and stale air is pushed out of the root zone. At the end of the timed feed, the solution is pumped back to the water butt rebalancing the pH and re-oxygenating the root zone. Remote timers are controllable to 1 minute and can be located up to 2m outside the grow room. All three systems offer fantastic yields, but for quicker flood and drain periods, we recommend the 25mm Pro Remote.

Low maintenance RUSH systems can be connected to large water butts for longer periods between top-ups. Quiet running Locators in the root tanks keep the air stones in place so there’s zero rattling noise from air stone movement. Low media usage RUSH uses just 6.5L of clay pebbles per plant, but these grow systems outperform others which use far more media.

HOW IT WORKS AutoDrain removes run-off fast which prevents root rot, increases nutrient uptake and growth and reduces the risk of crop-destroying issues like Pythium. The AutoDrain6 includes a control pot which collects, holds, then pumps away the run-off to a drain or bucket for waste or recirculation. When the solution reaches the float in the control unit the solution is pumped to waste. AutoDrain is the perfect system if you like to hand water, but want to improve the health of your plants. The Flo-Gro’s dripper ring feeds your plant(s) at the set times*. Any excess drains back into the reservoir to be dripped over the media at the next feed. It’s almost impossible to overwater in a Flo-Gro because the dripper ring releases solution slowly and the pebbles offer excellent drainage. The speed of the draining through the pebbles provides loads of oxygen to the roots at every feed so your plants have a long, healthy life.

EBB & FLOOD If you’re experienced, choose this super-oxygenating system to make maximum use of the free-draining nature of clay pebbles. HOW IT WORKS At the set times, solution rises up from the tank into the media and pushes out stale air. The roots take what they need and when the solution drains back into the tank fresh air is pulled into the root zone. Stale air is replaced with oxygen-rich air at every feed so the roots are incredibly well oxygenated which drives more growth.

HOW IT WORKS X-Stream Aero’s misting chamber provides the plants with constant access to water causing roots to grow faster and stronger. It also reduces the risk of drying out or root rot. Root growth can be checked without disturbing the plants by lifting the plant tray. Temperature and humidity can be controlled via large vents in the lid. We recommend using 2x grow lights which sit in specially designed grooves in the lid. These will help create healthy growth and prevent legginess.
