A NOTE FROM SCOTT, CEO A very warm welcome to the latest edition of the Nutrivend Staff Newsletter. 2023 has been a successful year for the company, and we are proud to tell you all about it in this newsletter. We are also excited about what 2024 has in store for all of us. This will be a year of growth and new opportunities for everyone at Nutrivend.

As we quickly approach the end of another remarkable year, I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for your unwavering dedication and hard work that has been the driving force behind our remarkable achievements. This year, we have witnessed remarkable growth, achieving a 20% increase in our business—a testament to your collective efforts, commitment, and the embodiment of our core values.

The incredible results we have achieved together this year are a testament to your collective efforts. It is important to recognize that our achievements are not isolated events. They are the result of your consistent dedication, teamwork, and your belief in our shared vision.

A warm welcome to Ben Ingle, who’s just joined the company as Cardiff’s depot manager. Also, Daniel Williams has settled brilliantly into his role as Warehouse Supervisor, it feels like he’s always been around!

LUTON DEPOT

We wanted to give a shout out to Michael Parry – Atif Chaudry took a well-deserved holiday in October, and he did a brilliant job of keeping the Luton Depot running while he was away. Well done and thank you, Michael!

GLASGOW DEPOT

We’d like to mention 3 new(ish) starters who have really bedded in well at the Glasgow depot. Please join us in welcoming: Scott Pryce (Warehouse) Scott Paterson (Driver) Andrew Bowles (Driver)

TECHNICAL SERVICES

Chris Raymond has joined the team over in unit G as a refurbishment/service engineer. He had previously been a fulfilment driver. He will undergo extensive equipment and electrical training.

The refurbishment centre has been very busy of late. 10 machines for Bannatyne's, 15 for Serco Leisure, 17 for Leisure United & 7 for Places Leisure. We’ve also started working on exchanging the Rondo/Samba 56 machines on The Gym Group sites.

• Natalie Mullins recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Alfie, huge congratulations to you Natalie.

• We recently had some great feedback on Nutristore for Sarah Wilcox: “Thank you, we all make mistakes but it’s how we resolve them that makes the difference. In this case your support is nothing short of outstanding! You will now be my top go to site for sports nutrition.”

FINANCE & HR

We’ve renewed our annual insurance premium which covers all aspects from buildings to fleet. The premium increased by 100% vs last year because of our growth, but also our claims. Kaeleigh has been pro-active in arranging training and implementing procedures that will aim to improve or renewal for next year.

The Finance team have a few projects on-going during Q4, including: • The creation of a register of all our suppliers to track renewal dates allowing us to proactively shop around and save £££.

• Improving the overall quality of the monthly financial reporting.

• Building a budget & forecast model which sets out Nutrivend's exciting growth plans for 2024 & 2025.

• Finance are also looking to recruit for a Management Accountant to join the team.

SALES & MARKETING

• Nutrivend carried out 18 new machine installs in October, with a further 14 fully managed machines and 5 self-fill rentals booked in for November.

• Nutristore had a record month in November for orders and are on track for another record month in December.

STAFF SPOTLIGHT NAME: David Beath JOB TITLE: Depot Manager, Scotland

How long have you been with the company?

I have been with the company for 5yrs and 3 months.

What does your job involve and what do you like most about it?

My job involves the day to day running of the Glasgow warehouse and occasionally putting out fires. I like that we have a small, close, settled team, who all look out for each other.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

My current favourite things to do at weekends are recording music, going for long walks and unplanned napping. In that order.

If you could do any other job for a day, what would you do?

If I could do any other job for a day, I'd 100% want to be a professional musician, mid-tour cycle. Not stadiums- dive bars and small venues only please.

What are you watching on TV at the moment?

I am currently watching Taskmaster, Only Murders In The Building, and Mindhunter.

What would you eat if you had to eat only one meal every day for the rest of your life?

If I could only eat one meal for the rest of my life, it would probably be some kind of curry. I can't be more specific at this time. Too much pressure!

EMPLOYEE OF THE QUARTER

The Nutrivend Employee of the Quarter award is a new initiative designed to recognize and celebrate the outstanding contributions of our staff members. Each quarter, managers will select a Nutrivend employee who has gone above and beyond to demonstrate our company's values of excellence, innovation, and teamwork over the past quarter. The nominations will all then go into a draw to win a prize.

Vlad is a very diligent employee. He will always go the extra mile to get service jobs complete in his area. Will stay out working late when required to clear his jobs in what is a very busy area. He has cancelled [or not taken] holiday when we have been short staffed, ensuring customers and the company are happy, maximising machine UPTIME and revenue from the machines.

Bryan has gone above and beyond several times to ensure machines are filled and wholesale orders delivered, meeting the core values of Nutrivend and keeping the sites happy.

Tim went out of his way to ensure that The Gym Group’s conference went smoothly by driving in the early hours of the morning to deliver stock to the conference centre. That’s real customer focus!

Sarah lives our core values and is passionate about the success of the business. Sarah is a great team player and is a vital part of the success of the customer service team. Here is some awesome feedback that was received by one of our new customers: Steve – Nutristore customer: Your support is nothing short of outstanding!

Sean consistently goes above and beyond to help out both customers and other members of the team. He recently drove (outside working hours) to Luton to ensure we had coin bags for month day 1.

Nikita has made me feel so welcome in my first month at Nutrivend. Nothing is too much trouble for her, she is there to answer any questions whenever you need, and she’s made my transition into the company much easier.

Harmesh is always willing to go above and beyond, to help myself and the other drivers.

Great attitude and embodies the company core values.

WELLBEING CORNER

DO YOU STRETCH ENOUGH?

Sitting for long periods of time can have negative effects on the body, such as: - Muscle stiffness and imbalances - Reduced circulation - Increased risk of cardiovascular disease - Back and neck pain - Reduced flexibility and range of motion.

Why should you stretch after driving, lifting, or sitting for long periods?

Stretching can relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, enhance alertness and focus, maintain flexibility and range of motion, and promote overall well-being – as well as offer you a short, well-earned break. sHere are some simple stretches that you can do throughout the

day – whether you’re a driver, office staff, or work in the warehouse. Remember not to stretch to the point of pain – none of these exercises should hurt you:

WORK STRETCHES Neck stretches: Gently tilt your head to one side, bringing your ear toward your shoulder. Hold for 15-30 seconds, then repeat on the other side.

Upper body twist: Stand with your feet shoulderwidth apart and gently rotate your upper body to one side, then the other. Repeat this motion for a few repetitions.

Chest stretch: Place your hands behind your head and gently squeeze your shoulder blades together, feeling a stretch in your chest. Hold for 15-30 seconds.

Back stretch: Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, place your hands on your lower back, and gently lean backward, arching your back slightly.

Hold for 15-30 seconds.

Hip flexor stretch: Take a lunge position with one foot forward and the other foot back. Keeping your back straight, gently shift your weight forward, feeling a stretch in the front of your hip and thigh. Hold for 1530 seconds, then switch sides.

Full body stretch: Reach your arms overhead and interlock your fingers, palms facing upward. Inhale deeply as you stretch upwards, lengthening your entire body. Hold for a few seconds and then release.
