Nutrano is an Australian-owned fresh produce grower, packer and marketer. Established in 2016, the company was founded from a deep respect for its people, its growers and the communities in which they operate in, collaborating with a number of strategic partners to be category leaders in our core categories.

We pride ourselves on the quality of fresh fruit that we supply from farm to plate.

The company’s farming footprint spans over 2,000 hectares, in addition to operating its own packing sheds, ripening and logistics facilities across Australia. It employs over 850 employees and contractors during peak harvest.

Focusing on the following core fresh produce categories – Citrus and Tropical Fruit, Nutrano undertakes its sales and marketing effort for the major supermarket chains, independent retailers and the wholesale trade under strict cold chain and quality standards, also exporting to 20 countries globally.

KATHERINE, NORTHERN TERRITORY

Eumaralla Farm – 275ha planted with citrus and mangoes. Strategic expansion plans are underway to support future demand and extend our supply window.

150ha has been developed with a mixture of Citrus (Lemon and Grapefruit) and Mangoes trees planted. Nursery onsite to propagate trees to suit the local growing climate.

Katherine Packing Facility – Fully air-conditioned packing facility that has undergone recent upgrades with capacity of 2500 mango trays per hour. Strict cool chain management to optimise freshness and quality from the moment it enters our facility until it reaches its destination.

CENTRAL BURNETT, QUEENSLAND

Abbotsleigh Farm is located along the mighty Burnett River in Central Burnett (Queensland) covering an area of 560 hectares of which 185 hectares is planted with Citrus (Lemon, Imperial Mandarins and Honey Murcott Mandarins) and Blueberries. Further plantings underway to expand footprint to approx. 230 hectares to be planted with approx. 60,000 citrus trees.

Abbotsleigh Packing Facility – Modern packing facility located close to farm with capacity of 1600 cartons per hour. Recently upgraded to meet the strict MRL protocols for export market and equipped with computerised grading systems with high-definition optics for blemish detection.

SUNRAYSIA, VICTORIA

Sunraysia properties is located in Australia’s fruit bowl with Mediterranean climate. 450 hectares planted across 3 properties in Victoria: Hattah, Tarcoola and Sunwest. Products grown –Mandarins (Imperials, Afourer), Oranges (Navels, Cara Cara), Grapefruit (Ruby Red) and Lemons. Trial plantings of Ippolito Blood Oranges underway.

Sunwest Packing Facility – State-of-the-art packing facility located close to farm with capacity of 2400 citrus cartons per hour. Highly automated with robotic packing, grading and palletising technology. New Global Scan 7 grader and prepacker line installed.
