We have been in the business of writing about the best products for over a decade now, and are always in the loop when new products hit the market. With that experience and knowledge, it was a natural next step to go full circle and open a store with products we love and you can trust.

If you have been following his work you can tell that he has a great taste in brows and you can be sure that all his staff is trained well so you are in safe hands.

It started with a short consultation, the Brow Artist asked me what I wanted and then made a plan for my brows considering my face and bone structure before she carried out shaping and custom colour tinting my brows. The result was even better than I had hoped for, my brows were natural and perfectly shaped!

Ink by Ker. Guðbjörg Káradóttir the founder of Ker, a brand based in Reykjavik Iceland. She is known for her exceptional ceramic pieces, but she is a multi-faceted artist that also creates stunning ink images using a similar technique as she does with ceramics.

The images are handmade on the throwing wheel using ink and paper instead of clay. The result is captivating and you can look at them for hours.

LEMPELIUS Lempelius is a Berlin brand, founded by Bettina Lempelius in 2004. Lempelius is known for its exclusive, timeless down coats and sophisticated cotton parkas.

The focus on sustainability, uncompromising quality and minimalist aesthetics has made the brand stand out as one of the best in its field. The coats are one of a kind, if you have ever tried one, you know what I mean, you want to live in it forever! It is like a soft and warm hug, as the lucky owner of the DIAMOND QUILT COAT, I know first hand. I have only had it for a few weeks but never has one of my coats gotten so much attention and well deserved, I might add. Curious about the story behind Lempelius and its values, I had a chat with Bettina Lempelius, the woman behind the brand.

THE STORY AND IDEA BEHIND THE BRAND I always had a passion for coats. Our first collection was a bunch of colourful raincoats. They quickly got picked up by some very interesting shops throughout Europe, so it all started. We launched our men´s collection a few years later.

WHAT IS THE LEMPELIUS DNA? Lempelius stands for a minimalistic aesthetic, uncompromising quality and a sophisticated, fashionable look. We design and produce our coats to last for many seasons. We put a lot of care and love into all our pieces

from the development to the production.

WHAT PART OF THE PROCESS, FROM IDEA TO FINISHED GARMENT DO YOU ENJOY THE MOST? I really enjoy the process of developing a piece together with the patternmakers and the sewing rooms. I admire their expertise and enjoy artisanal work in general very much. I also like to spend time in the factories to see how everything comes together in the end during production.

We develop most of our pieces in Italy and produce in factories all over Europe. I hope that all this knowledge about garment making can be saved over the next years.

WHAT IS YOUR TAKE ON SUSTAINABILITY? Sustainability for us is an important and ongoing process.

It involves a consistent and careful evaluation of our work every day. Of course, as a fashion brand, we have a high ethical responsibility and since the beginning, we wanted to produce garments that are sustainable and responsibly made. We are making coats of the highest quality that can be worn for many years. As we produce all our coats in family-owned factories throughout Europe, we also source all materials in Italy and Germany. This way transportation is kept to a minimum and we make sure we use the best materials and trims for our coats.

We have known our suppliers and manufacturers for a long time and we are constantly present at the factories to overview the making. To simplify communication and to make sure there is a healthy work environment. We have managed to close to no waste in our production, as

our products have a high continuity. Thanks to the fact that we produce to order, we have no overproduction. If we do have some leftover fabrics, we use them either for special projects, like our puffer bags at the moment, or we donate them to fashion schools in Berlin.

IF YOU COULD ONLY CHOOSE ONE COAT? It would be the DIAMOND QUILT COAT. This coat looks very different from others and is a statement coat. At the same time, it is so warm and soft. Due to the high quality down we use, it is puffy but still lightweight. I love wearing it.

WHERE DO YOU SEE THE BRAND IN 5 YEARS? I always hope to grow. Not in the sense of growing bigger.

But trying to be better and to constantly improve is my goal for our company.
